Very close to Notre Dame and in the Latin Quarter, but a half block from the hullabaloo. Room was comfortable, with good closets. WIFI was sketchy. Good breakfast(but poor black tea option.) Very polite staff.

I loved the location of our hotel — it was so central to everything but two blocks away from the fray so it was still quiet and relaxing. One afternoon, we did have kids playing soccer in the church area so I had a bouncing ball nap — the only real noises I heard. Ludovic — the concierge — was amazing. He made our dinner reservations for us, bought our museum passes, you name it. It was great as we do not speak French and he saved us a ton of time before we even arrived. He handled everything by email. I was so happy! The room was very nice and larger than I expected. It had a safe and nice windows that opened out to oversee the courtyard and walking path of the church. The hairdryer was a disappointment. Yikes, I would have been there for days, thank goodness I brought my own! Restaurant downstairs and room service for those of you who are interested, but there are restaurants and bistros literally 10 feet away so there is so much to choose from! Three Metro stations within 5 minute walk, Notre Dame walking distance, along with Rue de Huchette and other sightseeing areas. Too many to mention. I think the St. Severin area in this quadrant under Ile de Cite is the best locale for a hotel in Paris!

A really beautiful hotel located in the busy Left Bank area of Paris, close to the Boulevard St Michel and a short walk away from Notre Dame. It is tucked away on a quiet street next to the lovely St Severin church. The room was large and very comfortable, with a very nice bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful — I speak French so don’t know how good their English is but I imagine it was fine. The area is a definite plus as it is full of shops, cafes and restaurants including some wonderful curry houses and pizzerias.
