We had dinner here last night. Made a reservation through my hotel for 8pm. Very tasty food, warm staff, and overall good vibes. Salad nicely dressed. Skirt steak seasoned well. The waitress saved me from making a horrible mistake of ordering the audouillette.(I mistook it for andouille.) Eternally grateful for that. She was very friendly, attentive, and wished us a wonderful time in Paris at the end of service.

This place is simply amazing. I had the duck, it was so delicious, it caught me off guard because I wasn’t expecting it to be that great. We also had crème brûlée, and cod fish, all fantastic. It was so good that we went back for breakfast the next day, and that was delicious too! Definitely going back at least once more before we go home!

The food was good and the service was great! Still looking for the bad French waiters. We had two of the steaks and a salad. Everything tastes great and I loved the mustard tarragon sauce.

After an early morning flight, we were tired and hungry. This was right outside our airbnb apartment, although we arrived a few hours before our check-in time so we rolled all our luggage inside to grab some breakfast. Our server didn’t give us much service, as to be expected. But we ordered what we could without her sticking her nose up more than a few times at us American tourists. We ordered a French Breakfast, a pain au chocolat and a café Crème. The French breakfast was 13 € for a croissant, bread and butter, French toast, a hot beverage(my parents chose a café Crème), a glass of orange juice, and some yogurt. It seemed like a good deal at the time. The croissant was flaky and crispy, the bread was delicious with the butter and strawberry preserves. The French toast was three thin slices, but my parents seemed to enjoy it. The yogurt was very tart and hard to swallow(maybe we just aren’t used to the way the French eat their morning parfait). My chocolate croissant and café Crème were delightful! Although the price was a little steeper than we found the average to be in Paris(6 € total), I’m sure it included the eating in charge. Our barista was very good looking and brought us both of our café Crème with cute latte art(which seems to be rare in cafes). The prices were steep and the service was subpar. No matter how close we were to the brasserie, we decided against becoming their loyal customers this weekend.

A great little place near the Eiffel Tower! Not too far away. Cozy and quant! If you are a tourist this place is good. Friendly staff and welcoming! They do take their time and give you time to relax and not rush.

Walk down any street in Paris. Stop. Turn in a circle. Open your eyes. There’s a brasserie in front of you. It probably has a red awning. There are circular tables with wicker chairs. The menu is on a chalkboard. It has confit du canard. Unfortunately the Parisian brasserie is often a disappointment. L’Atome is better than that, but does little to surprise. I had a steak with fries, and a café gourmand. The steak was fine(though more well done than medium) but the fries were standard frozen from a bag. The café gourmand was good, but deserts are easier to get right. I will stay that the wait staff is both efficient and friendly, which is the exception rather than the rule in Paris. And if it’s a selling point for you, the menu is also in English. There are little restaurants in the neighbourhood that are more unique, more cozy, and tastier. But if you want a bustling brasserie with predictable, easy to understand food, then L’Atome is OK.

A nice meal after a visit to the Eiffel Tower. Actually a really good burger and nice cold French draught beer. Nothing crazy exciting but just good, feel good food in a french way. Pricing was good also. I’m not for fancy pretentious food!

Muito bons os pratos oferecidos e bem servidos! Acabei indo diversas vezes. O atendimento foi muito na maior parte dos dias. Adorei o café da manhã francês(a french toast era sensacional). O preço é razoável.

We had a great meal here! The restaurant catered to locals and tourists alike. Four of us(two adults, two teens) and there was something for everyone. It had a nice wine selection as well. The waiter was attentive without rushing us. This is the place to splurge on dessert — it is very good.

Airline crews recommend it so you know it’s got to be good! Staff couldn’t have been nicer! Thoroughly went over the menu and the specials and offered suggestions. You must start out with the cheese assortment appetizer! It’s excellent! I had the duck due to a positive review I saw on here and it certainly didn’t disappoint. I highly recommend this great place. Even has a view of the Eiffel Tower if you sit in the right spot!

First time visiting Paris for my wife and I. Found this great restaurant on Unilocal.Outstanding service, the best we have had in Paris. Wife had French onion soup and the chicken dish. I had the duck breast. We both had the crème brûlée. All of it was outstanding! I wasn’t sure I liked duck until having it here. The waiters were outstanding and enjoyed speaking English. This is a must for anyone wanting a great meal and service.

Delicious food. Healthy sized portion. Full-size bottles of soda. Not offended when we asked for tap water or split checks. English menu. Extremely friendly staff. Best experience at a restaurant so far in Paris. Highly recommend.

Nice local restaurant, close to the Eiffel Tower but away from the most touristy places. Yet it captures the traditional Parisian«bistrot» atmosphere. The food is good and the prices are within reason.

This corner café was close by the hotel we were staying at near the Eiffel Tower. We dropped by super early for some croissant and cappuccinos before heading to the louvre. We were greeted promptly as the man took our order. We chose to sit right by the window. Perfect for people watching! The chocolate croissant was so warm, moist, just perfect. Cappuccinos were delicious! Prob the best croissant and coffee I’ve ever tasted… I miss Paris already!

We came here after checking into our hotel near the Eiffel Tower. After reading several Unilocal reviews, we decided to eat here and try some local food. We were greeted with a warm welcome and then immediately given a table… in the corner behind a pole while the whole place was wide open. This should have been our first instinct that we should have chosen a different place. After being seated, we waited 20 minutes before a waiter even acknowledged us and brought us menus or water. After being handed menus, we waited another 20 minutes before the waiter returned with water. I know you can attribute some of the wait time to different customs between the US and Europe, however the wait staff was overly attentive to the group of German tourists seated just 2 tables away. While we sat and waited for service, we were treated to people watching along Blvd Grenelle. After an extended wait, we were finally able to place our order. We ordered a bottle of Bourdeuax wine, which was very inexpensive. The wine was a typical French Bordeaux. L’Atome has many wines to choose from at reasonable prices. After ordering our wine we ordered our meal, a traditional French steak topped with caramelized onions and fries. My SO had a chicken club. The steak was no better than a thinly sliced London broil. While I ordered it medium, it came well done which eliminated any flavor it might have had. I was also forced to cut the steak with what seemed like a butter knife. The steak came with a side salad of arugula topped with balsamic dressing. The chicken club was small and lackluster. While all meals at L’Atome are served with sliced French baguette, ours did not come until we were nearly finished with the meal, while the other tables were offered more baskets before we were presented with one. After dinner, we desired something sweet and ordered the crème brûlée, as it looked really good on the German tourists table. As soon as we mentioned we would like the crème brûlée, our waiter immediately told us no and did not offer an explanation. The table over from us ordered it after we were told no and were given it. Needless to say, our experience at L’Atome was less than par. From the food to the service, we were not impressed.

On our walk to the Eiffel Tower my friend and I were looking for a restaurant that had beef tartare and escargot. It was our last night in Paris and we still had to check those off the food list. We passed a number of places that didnt have them. but finally we stumbled upon L’Atome! We were seated right away. The staff was very friendly too. our sever even sat at our table and chatted with us a bit. The interior is a nice and cozy/dark place. Seemed to be a mostly local crowd too. Everyone was out having fun with their friends. We already knew what we wanted so after some wine sipping we ordered our beef tartare and escargot. They were both fantastic. The tartare was a very generous portion(my friend couldnt even finish) and it also came with fries. I have only had Tartare a few times but this was definitely the best Ive had. I have had escargot quite a few more times. and this was definitely the best ive had of it. The sauce was so good we sopped all of it up with bread after the escargot was gone. Yum!

Definitely one of the better bars we found on our ramblings. comfy seats and the beer wasn’t as astronomically priced as some other bars in the area. you need a token for the toilets but the barman will give it to you.

L’Atome became our neighborhood restaurant during our recent stay near the Eiffel tower. We had all 3 meals at L’Atome at one time or another. This is a solid, friendly, well run bistro on Blvd. Grenelle. They serve good food at fair prices and the wait staff is excellent. What more can you ask?

A tester !
