The beef bourgeon was so tender I was able to cut it with a spoon. I did order the oeufs mayonnaise and I got 2 whole hard boiled eggs and a cup of mayo. A bit odd but I made it work. The restaurant was busy and it took a few times to get my wine delivered but the meal was so good I was able to overlook that since I was on vacation and had nowhere to be. The bathroom was confusing. I understand some places require you to pay but I tried a bunch of different coins to get into the stall and nothing worked. The restaurant was busy so it wasn’t worth asking the waiters about the restrooms so I just left. I would go back again because the food was good and it is close to the Eiffel Tower to see the lights at night.

This was one of the best meals we experienced in Paris based on service, location, ambience and food. I looked forward to escargot as part of this trip and finally was satisfied with the portion and garlicky buttery concoction here.
The duck breast and sauce was amazing. I recommend asking for both sauces on the side. The desserts were amazing!

Back for a second time this week. Both meals were delicious and the waiters were personable, helpful… wonderful! The Accras (fish bowl) special was light, crispy, herby with the perfect hint of spiciness. Chicken with truffle cream was heavenly and the crème brûlée… orgasmic.

Llegamos por casualidad a este local y entramos porque había una gran diversidad de gente y los precios no eran desorbitantes (para lo que estamos acostumbrados en España).
Una gran variedad en la carta, un poco incomprensible para los que tenemos poca idea de francés.
Pedimos un foie gras para el medio (increíblemente bueno) y un plato individual para cada uno (cassoulet royal y confit canard)
Hablaré del cassoulet que fue lo que prové. La verdad es que cuando lo vi parecía una mezcla muy rara de diversas carnes con incluso habichuelas. Sabía genial y estaba aderezado con un buen caldo de las carnes que incluía.
El precio de la comida a no ser que pidas un entrecotte está bastante bien, eso si la bebida es un poco cara. Copa de vino de 25 cl (9’7 e), copa de cerveza de 50 cl (9’4) y litro de agua (7’9).
Cada capuchino 6 euros.
Hay que tener en cuenta estas cosas porque son lo que suben la cuenta bastante.
El servicio es impecable y muy buena atención. Se esfuerzan en entenderte mucho.

First night in Paris and just had dinner. A little dissapointed! Everyone has told me how fantastic the food is in Paris, can’t go wrong… I had the special pasta tonight with Salmon and Tuna. The Salmon was fatty with the skin on, the tuna was cooked thoroughly (overcooked). The pasta itself was delicious. I ordered a small glass of wine and when I got the bill I was charged for a medium. When I told the waiter, he said, «well Madame, you drank it» insisting I should have sent it back! Right, like I’m supposed to know the difference. I could not believe he insisted this was my mistake and not his! So, if he had offered NICELY to reduce the bill I would have left with a pleasant taste in my mouth instead of this sour one! I insisted he pay the difference (which he did) but I heard him mutter what my imagination says was in insult as I departed. So many places to choose from, choose somewhere else!

Stumbled upon this place after a night visit to the Eiffel Tower! We were looking for reasonable prices and we found that here. They were also very inviting and spoke English!
We had the duck and the salmon both priced at a reasonable 13 eur per dish. Very very good and exactly what we wanted! Definitely a good place In the area with cute décor, great prices and good quality food. Thumbs up!

3 stars = «A-OK» is pretty much how this place is. The prices for wine is reasonable and the french onion soup is prettty solid. I ate a tuna special which comes fully cooked. Guess being American you expected a seared tuna steak and this was more fully-cooked. Tasted fine.
Wife ordered the salmon. Was someone fatty and she was just left with an «its ok» reaction. Neither were full after leaving.
Oh and if you want butter for your bread, its 1.50 EUR extra. Gotta love France.

Went twice for dinner since it was nearby and recommended on Unilocal.The first night was very good. I had duck with a peppercorn sauce and my spouse had roasted chicken, both nicely prepared. The waiter helped select a very reasonably priced Rhone wine after we had grown weary of house wines. We enjoyed the meal so much we brought friends back the following night, only to be disappointed with chicken and other dishes being served luke warm. The crowd is young and hip, in line with the price.

Service déplorable
Client habitué de cette brasserie, notamment pour y prendre des verres entre amis, je déplore un serveur trop intrusif qui se permet des remarques trop amicales et qui plus est se vexe lorsque l’on daigne né pas rigoler à ses blagues et coupe le chauffage au dessus de notre tablée pour nous «encourager» à partir. rend la monnaie en petites pièces pour enfoncer le clou. Aucun respect. Malgré un cadre sympathique et d’autres serveurs fort agréables celui là coupe toute envie à un retour. La concurrence peut le remercier. À fuir si l’on cherche un peu de tranquillité. Et tout comme un avis précédent, on nous régulièrement demandé de changer de place au profit de personne au portefeuille plus garni, ou pour des diner.

We decided to eat here after a full afternoon of debate between trying a place half a block away where Obama ate, or trying out this place. I was happy that the girlfriend ended up going for Le Campanella in the end, as the menu was much more exciting to me and also more affordable. We had a range of foods including snails, foie gras, duck and potatoes, and Carbonara. Everything was excellent, and the meal was affordable by Paris standards.
Our waiter was busy (so somewhat slow) but funny. We weren’t in a hurry, so the slow service wasn’t a big deal. It was also nice having dinner reasonably close to the Eiffel Tour since it let us go over there to catch the train back to Gare de Lyon and see the tour all lit up at night on the way.
Definitely recommend this place.

visited after hiking to the 2^nd level of the Eiffel Tower (which is only a 5 – 10 minute walk away); I had a delicious lamb shank with lots of fresh spring vegetables; my boys had burgers (they devoured them); and my wife enjoyed her fresh salad; great place to eat and people watch after hitting the tower

Le Campanella has decent food and service — our meals were good, but could have had slightly larger portions for the price we paid. They did have a Happy Hour on though — pints of Kronenberg for 5 €. Would I go back? Probably not — was getting my bearings in the 7^th and was able to get a nice spot on the patio.

We were actually on our way to a different restaurant that was nearby but when we got there they were opening in 15 minutes and we didn’t have a reservation. We were disappointed but this was ok because the place seemed to be a little snazzier than we expected. So anyways, onto the review of Le Campanella. All I had really wanted while in Paris was coque au vin or beef bourguignon. Who knew this would be so hard to find? Le Campanella has it (beef bourguignon. As soon as I saw it on their outside menu I said forget the other place. It was great! We also had the onion soup, that was fabulous and we also had a the campanella pizza but it was salty. Our waiters were friendly and the prices were not super expensive. A great last supper in Paris.

N’y allez pas pour boire un verre on vous chasse pour acceuillir les clients restaurant !
Responsable du soir fort désagréable ! Nous étions installés à table à l’intérieur du lieu quand cette personne nous a gentiment demandé de s’installer à l’extérieur (rappel des Températures +/-10°) pour pouvoir accueillir soit disant des clients pour dîner Sauf qu’il n’y avait aucun client potentiel… je n’y retournerai plus =) Exemple typique de lieu touristique et de restaurateur né connaissant pas la signification du mot Commerçant.

Devenu la cantine d’en bas de la maison, ce restaurant, refait depuis peu, est un endroit très sympa avec une cuisine excellente et variée ! L’équipe, dont le patron JP, est au top… Courrez-y !

Bonne brasserie sur Paris
Je vous le recommande, nouvelle décoration, nouveau patron, bonne ambiance, les serveurs très accueillants. On y mange très bien pour un prix correct pour le quartier. Et surtout le vendredi aioli. Toute la cuisine est maison, bonne appétit.

Bön lapin à la moutarde
Décor un peu tristouné et/voir vieillot, serveurs accueillants et nombreux (! c’est si rare). Carte bistrot classique, j’ai opté pour le plat du jour «lapin à la moutarde» très réussi (haricot vert étonnamment frais). Service un peu lent… mais c’était samedi et je n’avais rien d’urgent à faire.

Le campanella, à 2 pas de la tour Eiffel est une brasserie somme toute sympathique. Les prix sont corrects, les portions aussi, ce qui n’est pas usuel d’habitude à Paris. Ouvert tous les jours, je vous le conseille pour une petite faim.
