Came here for a nutella crêpe and it was ok but nothing to write home about! Nice place to chill… or sleep… I was so tired on this trip I actually crashed out here!!!

My fiancé and I arrived in Paris on Sunday evening and were excited at trying this local brasserie next to the flat we had rented. I didn’t think possible that any brasserie, let alone a brasserie in the 8th arrondissement, would serve food that was BARELY cafeteria-equivalent. We shared a Soupe a L’Oignon, which would have been comparable to hospital food had the crostini not been burnt and the cheese discernable; a salade chevre, which featured lettuce that you might find as a garnish; and a faux filet which was 60% gristle, 40% poorly cooked. The best items of the meal were the wine and the goat cheese on the salad — neither of which originated with the restaurant. This horrendous meal cost 60+ euros and quite frankly nearly ruined my relationship! Shame on these frenchmen!

Just another average Parisian café. My croque-monsieur was good, frites were average, onion soup was very cheese-y. It seemed spendy to me, but in reality this place was probably right on par with all the other cafés. The metro station is a block away, but the line must run directly underneath this place, since every five minutes or so, you can feel the rumbling below(like a 3.0 on the Richter scale, if I had to guess).

Another fairly non-descript Parisian brasserie offering their EUR9 pints of Amstel with the usual disdain. Not really sure why I came here, oh yes, it was close to the hotel and still open!
