Le Sens Unique

I regularly come to Paris on business and have eaten in countless Parisian restaurants and this is BY FAR my favorite. It’s small and inconspicuous just off the bright and loud Champs Elysees but inside it is warm and inviting. The food is excellent but accessible (many selections use ingredients from the owners family farm in the south of France), the drinks are sophisticated and high quality and the staff is genuinely kind and friendly. I recommend it to all my colleagues who travel to Paris and have never heard of a bad experience. I can’t recommend it highly enough

Truly professional chef the menu is superb compliments to the chef this was a very comfortable experience the service was friendly and excellent the goose is the best plate and don’t skip dessert the prices are great for the quality and portion size you will not be disappointed the place is clean cozy relaxing very classy casual it was truly an exceptional experience we really loved it the bar is full of great bev options the menu is full of tasty options it was so super I have no times for periods in my review I highly recommend you eat here I will def return

After spending 4 days in France, we had yet to enjoy authentic French cuisine. My husband asked our concierge for any recommendations and he advised that he visited this restaurant himself after work. We found out this place closed at 2am on a Friday! After walking around all day at the Museum d’Orsay and The Louvre, then coming back to the hotel around 9pm, we were glad to hear of the late closing time.
The streets are still active at 9:30pm in Champs Elysees and from our hotel, The Marriott, it’s simply 3 lefts to the restaurants — a mere 5 minute walk. It’s pretty dark at night, so be vigilant in walking.
The waitress was very nice and welcoming and the ambience was comfortable, close and cozy (by American standards). I ordered a red wine to go with my Duck breast and my husband ordered one of their specials, the veal loin. The duck breast tasted slightly sweet with a potato gratin. Both were excellent! My husband enjoyed his veal loin — very tender and went very well with the foie gras sauce and herbed potatoes.
For dessert we asked the waiter who recommended the chocolate fondant with a red fruit sauce. It was the perfect dessert to end the night. The prices are also reasonable considering the area, averaging about 20 Euros per dish, 6 Euros for a glass of wine and 7,50 for our dessert.
Great wine, excellent food, great atmosphere and friendly restaurant staff who understood my attempts to speak in French. Perfect French dinner! I only wished we visited on our first day!

We are staying around the corner at the Marriott and were directed by our concierge Omar to this little gem. The service was great, only surpassed by the food! I highly recommend this restaurant for great food, great wine selection and great service! Authentic of course, but the English translation doesn’t spoil the ambiance!!!

Best tartare ever. Jerome and Helene are really nice, as the staff.
Love also the special chef desserts.
Definitely one of the best place to eat some excellent food in Paris.

My husband and I ate here our first night in Paris. The atmosphere is quaint, yet the menu offers a wide variety of meats, seafood, and wines. My husband had the duck which came with a delicious au gratin potato. I had the cod which came with incredible mashed potatoes, which were some of the best I have ever had! Our waiter was so warm and welcoming, as were the other two waiters working at the time, and provided excellent wine recommendations based upon our main course. This meal was not one I will soon forget.

Excellent service, nice ambiance, great food and wine selection. This cozy bistro has a lot of charm! I really enjoyed the duck breast and cheese platter!

Chez Sens unique la priorité est à l’accueil chaleureux et au service agréable. Ce qui rend l’endroit assez convivial et détendu.
Une déco simple et amusante, des panneaux de circulation accrochés un peu partout sur les murs.
Le menu est plutôt simple et traditionnel, il n’y a pas beaucoup de choix mais les plats sont assez réussit et les ingrédients bien choisit. Un bon rapport qualité prix.
