Fast and good Greek food, ideal for a quick, reasonably priced lunch. Walking through the winding Paris streets, my girlfriend and I were beckoned into Maison de Gyros by a very gregarious hostess. Greek food in France — why not? It’s a really small restaurant with a few tables and a beautiful mural of Santorini taking up an entire wall. Very much a fast-greek-food-hole-in-the-wall, we ordered the gyro platter to split. It was delicious, with juicy meat sliced right from the«gyro»(re: that spinning wheel of meat), and there was enough one one platter to split between two people. Overall, it was a great lunch and I’d recommend if you’re looking for something quick and mot expensive.
