Tiny bakery that stocks yellowish croissants and pain au chocolat that are sponge-​y/​cake-​y/​bread-​y instead of filled with flaky layers… the result is more like a Burger King crossainwich than a Parisian delicacy.

day 2 in paris… we decided to just walk, and walk and walk… after many hours of walking we spotted this bakery with oodles of, what looked like, foodie awards in the window… we stepped in for our first taste of a Parisian bakery… i ordered a plain croissant and a chocolate croissant… both were perfectly buttery without being greasy, flaky on the outside and moist on the inside… yum yum…
i showed the pics to my local friends and they told me that this is a very reputable chain in France…
loved it!!! tried a few other bakeries during our stay and this was by far the best (and least expensive) of them all
