We visited Sebon on our last night in Paris. Such a romantic and tiny restaurant. You must make your reservations very early! The restaurant is very small and perfect for you and a guest. I loved being able to watch the chef cook and how organized he was. For the appetizer my husband and I both ordered the shrimp ravioli with a tomato foam. We definitely enjoyed it! I think it could have had a hint more salt and then it would have been absolutely perfect. The shrimp had a delicious fresh flavor. For our entrée, I had the seared cod and my husband had gnocchi with seared tuna. I warned him against getting tuna, because it is so hard finding great tuna and this exceeded our expectations. The best we have we have ever had. The gnocchi literally melted in our mouth and was not chewy and dry like most gnocchi is. I tried the gnocchi in just about every European city we have visited and this is by far the best I have ever had. The cod was pretty good, though I wish I ordered the gnocchi and tuna. ;) Now on to the best dessert we have ever had. I cannot tell you how amazing the cheesecake was. We have never in our lives tasted cheesecake so complex. It was creamy, without being thick and just the perfect balance with with various sauces. We would order this a thousand times over! We also orders a delicious bottle of Rose! We definitely enjoyed our meal and Sebon and would visit on our trip back!

This was my first solo trip to Paris and this restaurant was a recommendation from my Air BNB host. Charming atmosphere and the couple(she, front of house and he, chef) were amazing and made me feel like home. The dishes were prepared with meticulous perfection. A feast for the eyes, palette and soul. Do not miss.

I made our booking in August, so this was one seriously anticipated meal, and it did not disappoint. Se’bon is like entering the owner’s dining room. It’s small, with about 20 covers, and a simple monochrome décor. The hostess is Sebastian, the chef’s, wife & she is so warm & welcoming. There are 3 options per course, and I went for the chestnut & bacon ravioli, which was incredibly tasty. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the mushroom and bacon sauce so beautifully balanced. The main course was home made squid in spaghetti with prawns. If I had one criticism it’s that it could have done with less pasta, but that is being extremely picky. And the pudding, the pudding was quite possibly the best I have ever had! Olive oil cake with a banana tiramisu & pistachio ice cream, sounds a slightly weird combo, but the taste combination was incredible! Such a fantastic night of food, if you’re going to Paris make Se’Bön a must, just book well in advance

We had a great time here. Just be warned, this is a small place so the menu choices are limited. I think there were only 3 appetizers and 3 entrees — but everything is good. My wife couldnt eat any of the appetizers because she is a pescatarian, so I got the duck ravioli which was good(it was a little weird that they didnt have a salad or something). Then she got the fish, which was perfectly made, and the chef was nice so he switched the sides to make sure it did not contain meat. I had the veal, which was probably the best veal I have ever had. Dessert was amazing, it was some sort of ice cream with chocolate cake. House wine was also very good. This husband and wife team are amazing.

We arrived at Seb’on after several drinks in Montmartre with high expectations. This is the #3 rated restaurant in all of Paris on TripAdvisor. This tiny and sparsely decorated restaurant was on our friend’s to do list for some time and they jumped at the chance when an opening for 4 was available for a Saturday night. The restaurant is small, narrow, and sparsely decorated with the kitchen in the rear. Check out my pics for our view. We had the only table that sat 4. Everything about the place was comforting and inviting. Even our server who I suspect to be the chef’s wife was especially warm and friendly. Wonderful start to our evening! We all gravitated to the same starters: the foie gras and the duck ravioli. The foie gras was superb. Although slightly cold, the ravioli had a wonderful texture and distinctive taste of duck. For the main dish, I had the fish with the German spatzle(noodle) garnished with bacon and my wife had the truffle tagliatelle in parmesan emulsion and topped with speck. It seemed that the menu had a German influence and wonder whether the chef is German… Only complaint, both dishes were too salty. But what do you expect when bacon and speck are used as garnish?! They were both very filling and hearty plates. Dessert left my wife and I a little flat. My wife thought she was getting the white chocolate mousse and I thought I was getting a chocolate cheesecake. Both of them were different from what we expected and neither wowed us. The were both presented well. Check out the pics. Overall, this restaurant was a good experience but didn’t blow us away like we were hoping. I think if our friends didn’t hype it up and if we didn’t go in expecting the #3 restaurant in Paris we would have had a better experience. In comparison to a place like Frenchie is why this place got a 3 star and not 4 or higher.

Excellent food. Perfect service. It is actually one of the best restaurants I tried in Paris even if I have lived there for 20 years. The food is fresh and perfectly chosen. The quantity is largely enough, actually one appetizer for two is largely enough ! You really should try the deserts also which are delicious.
