Tout simplement le meilleur restaurant japonais que j’ai eu la chance de goûter à Paris.
Le restaurant d’origine est à Tokyo dans le quartier Ginza mais Sushi Onodera est également présent à Hong Kong et Hawaï.
Nous sommes installés au 1er étage devant le comptoir où le chef prépare les sushis sous nos yeux.
Gros gourmands nous prenons des menus Sakura composé d’entrées, de sashimis, deux plats de homard, 10 sushis, une omelette japonaise et un dessert.
Les poissons sont excellents et fondent dans la bouche.
En dessert, nous avons un petit flan à la noix de coco, une glacé au thé vert et un flan au sésame.
La cuisine est extrèmement raffinée. Le service est impeccable.
Le restaurant n’est pas très grand il est nécessaire de réserver à l’avance. Le comptoir n’est pas forcément pratique pour les grands groupes mais observer le chef cuisiner est passionnant!
Une excellente soirée qui me donne envie de tester le nouveau restaurant Teppanyaki Ginza Onodera ouvert il y a quelques semaines!

Absolutely the best (high-end) sushi I had in Europe. The entire restaurant has a very calm and zen feel like traditional restaurants in Tokyo. They only have menu pre-fixe though, and the portions are not huge. (I thought I’d be ok with the simplest menu but I had to «upgrade» to the second simplest right before the dessert because I was still a bit hungry. Granted, I love sushi and I am always up for more.) the medium set menu plus matcha came to € 86 at lunch but I think it’s totally worth it. Come here if you’re a connoisseur of delicate tasting traditional sushi (not «inventive» rolls) and Japanese hospitality. I think lunch is pretty good value for what you get.

We came here for a group dinner and it is a fixed menu sushi bar with exceptional service and great food. I am not a huge fan of sushi but just the feel of the place made me feel special. Every time I turned around the lady was refilling my drink and always asking if I needed anything, You can tell this was a real Japanese restaurant.
It is very close to the Louvre and I strongly suggest making a reservation. It was about 125 euros per person plus alcohol so it gets to be pricey.
