La Pomme d’Or

We rented a car and drove from Paris all over Europe. We arrived in this city late at night, we were hungry and tired. We stopped in and had a wonderful meal with great service. I asked the owner if he knew anywhere we could stay for the night close and the wonderful man offered to let us stay at HIS HOUSE! He called his daughter, gave us directions which it was right around the corner and we stayed in their spare room for the night. His wife made us a wonderful French breakfast in the morning while she sang in the kitchen in French and gave us fresh fruit from her garden for our journey.
You just dont hear of that in the states. This was the highlight of our trip. My wife and I were so happy with our experience here. Wonderful people.
