We stopped in this place after the museum tour to grab a quick lunch. What we got was one of the best meals we’ve had in France. Very cozy and welcoming, this restaurant is run by a lovely couple of ex-pat Brits who really know how to make a westerner feel at home. The food is simple and locally sourced, but prepared exquisitely. This chef really knows what he’s doing. The fish and chips were some of the best I’ve had and the beef stew was rich, complex and hearty… perfect for a rainy winter’s day in Normandy. Can’t recommend it enough.
