The place on entrance gave me a very nice and well arranged feel. The waiters were quick in bringing me to my table and taking my order. Super. The steak I went for this time was just exquisite. Top range. As such I recommend them highly, and will bring my girlfriend next time for sure!

We happened on Bray at the end of the day to see the cliffs and then to see the beach. We came across this restaurant and decided it was time for dinner. What a happy surprise. The food was great and the service wonderful. I had the scallops, fabulous, and the duck breast, very nice. It was Sunday night, so the place was a rather full. We got a rather undesirable table at first but when some other guests left we requested and then was moved to a better table. If you are in this town you should really try to have dinner here.

We’ve been here before and it’s an absolute gem in Bray. The staff are wonderful and chatty but know to leave you to eat. The setting here is casual chic, warm and welcoming. Whether it’s a group of people or a couple it works well. I had the risotto crab & prawn cakes plus the potato gratin and it was delicious! The Mister had the deep fried Brie with chips. I would highly recommend their desert menu! Will certainly return and bring people.

I’ve eaten in the restaurant a few times and always enjoyed the meal and always found the staff friendly and helpful. I ate in the bar for the first time on Christmas Eve. As a regular Katie Gallaghers goer back in the day I couldn’t believe the transformation. The atmosphere was warm and cosy and all staff were chatty and good fun. The menue was great and I wasn’t disappointed with the food. I’ll definitely be back!

We stopped in here by chance after picking up some runners in Bray. Driving along the seafront we saw a cute restaurant and realized how hungry we were. I hopped out to read the menu and saw 2 courses for € 22(not bad) and a restaurant as well as a bar menu. I like fish and my boyfriend prefers wings, so I thought it would be a perfect place. We parked and walked into the restaurant, which would be very cosy on a rainy day with a wood-burning stove and red brick. In fairness, we were not dressed quite nicely enough for a somewhat up-scale restaurant, however when I asked if we would be able to order from the bar menu as well as the restaurant menu(since they were connected and located in the same building, with the same kitchen) they said no. They then suggested that I could order just an entrée off of the fixed menu, assuming it was a price issue instead of an issue of taste, or that the bar might suit us better. I stubbornly stayed put in the restaurant and we both ordered 2 courses. Here are the pro’s and cons: Pros: 1. Cute atmosphere. 2. Cheap if you want 2 courses. 3. Comfy chairs. 4. Large portions. I got the risotto and then seabass, which could have fed me for three meals easily. 5. Sea View Cons: 1. Unfriendly. An empty restaurant shouldn’t shake their heads when you say you have no reservation. They shouldn’t be inconvenienced by you asking about items on the menu. Once we didn’t order wine they wrote us off for the night. 2. Inflexible. 3. Cheapness disguised as fanciness. There was a woman giving out rolls, which was nice, however it was one roll per person unless you deliberately asked for another and they did not come around a second time. 4. Heaviness. Somehow all of the food was very heavy, most likely based on butter instead of other flavourings. Overall I wasn’t upset I ate there, but I would not go back. Maybe I had bad luck with servers/hostess. There was a cute pizza place next door that I will go to next time instead.

We went here for a friend’s birthday dinner and we had such a good night! We got such a warm welcome, the food was delicious and very reasonably priced, the atmosphere was warm and cosy. This is a great neighbourhood restaurant. Check it out!
