It’s hard to complain about fish & chips near the sea really isn’t it?
Call in, get your box of goodness, buzz five mins over the road to the grass and watch people run by with the sea glistening in the background. Seriously how could ye complain about that?
Most people will know the Beshoff brand being one of the best fish and chip eateries around, and the Clontarf branch is no different.
The one thing I would tweak, is giving people numbers on their receipts rather than just calling out orders. There must have been 30 people in and around the shop the other day trying to get fed, and no one could make out who’s food was what.

The place looked very hygienic and the staff were very polite. Food was incredible. It’s so easy to mess up calamari, and these guys did it perfectly.

Beshoff’s smoked cod, a short walk or drive over the Bull Wall wooden bridge, eating my chips watching the oul wans swimming: that’s what reminds me of summers being a kid in Dublin and going out to Dollymount. 20 years later I went back there and somehow Beshoff’s tastes just as good.

As often as I can I will take a trip to Beshoff Seafood in Clontarf. Their Cod and Chips special is to die for and I would recommend it to anyone. Friendly staff and great take away food, what more could you ask for?
Make sure you ask for extra tartar sauce as the portion of Cod is usually pretty large.

This is a really good take away. From the place itself, which is clean and gleaming. They have a great flat screen tv on the wall to watch while you wait, which i think is great.
The food is very good and quick. They specialise in fish of all types, but they also sell chicken and sausages. They have some good meal deals for adults as well as kids meals.
There is also a good selection of drinks available. There is parking right outside the door which is convenient. The staff are always friendly and quick
