Are here twice while staying in Cork City. Once we had dinner, and once we had brunch. A quaint little spot, really quiet, delicious food!

I’ve been there twice and each time it was just amazingly tasty! Prices are correct since food’s quality Perfect for a lunch and even better if the sun is there ! The menu seems to change everyday depending of produce of the day

We ate here twice during our stay in Cork. The food was both fresh and delicious since it is locally sourced. My first meal was a breakfast of eggs benedict topped with two of the most perfectly poached eggs I have ever had. I also enjoyed a great cup of cappuccino and a glass of fresh orange juice. Others in our party enjoyed Eggs Florentine, and an Egg and Sausage breakfast. Our second meal was lunch on our last day in Cork. We had the specials of mushroom soup and spinach quiche. The crust on the quiche was as delicate as could be. The layers of fresh spinach leaves we perfectly filled with egg, cheese and cream. Both were a culinary delight.

I cannot get enough of Café Serendipity. My mom stayed in the adjoining Anam Cara B&B, and we breakfasted here every morning! My daily meal was usually a cappuccino(freshly brewed, a rarity in Ireland!!) and french toast, which was served with either maple syrup or a personal mini jar of hot berry compote — I usually opted for both! A scone with fresh cream was my second-favorite option. The girls who work there are lovely, and the family that owns both Serendipity and Anam Cara(Tim, Aideen, their five kids, and Patch!) are incredibly kind and welcoming. My only regret is not having discovered Café Serendipity earlier!
