Service slow or terrible your choice. One fried rice with shrimp that look like my dog made it in the garden. Spring rolls that were lacking any spring.
Add in the gastroenteritis and well pure dreadful.

I’ve tried quite a few Chinese takeaways over the years but still haven’t come across one that beats the Yangtzee River. Their chicken curry is one of the best out there with whole chunks of fresh chicken breast and not the stringy stuff you get elsewhere. The portions are generous with a chicken curry, fried rice and chips enough to feed 3 for around 8 euros. Another massive plus for me is that they deliver quite quickly and I usually get mine delivered withing 30 to 40 minutes which is good considering I live 15 minutes outside the city.
One tip I would suggest is asking for fresh chips when ordering. I only say this because I had a couple of reheats in the past and the chips were not great but if you ask them for freshly prepared chips they have no problem doing it for you.

Grand Chinese takeaway with a good location — I’ve had more hot dinners from Yangtze than any other Chinese in Cork. Will deliver too, which is always the usefully lazy option.
