Bloody great meal here. Chaotic, loud and undeniably Italian. Had a delicious meal with my girlfriend. Shared a bruschetta to start, had smoked salmon pasta for my main and loved every bite. Delicious house red wine by the glass too. Would definitely return.

Wonderful, warm setting. Great food and the night I was there, every staff member spoke Italian fluently. Very fresh ingredients. Fun to see local celebrity signatures on the wall.

Ragazzi has quickly become a favourite of my family for lovely and very reasonably priced food, in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It’s like taking a trip to Italy for the night.
I am a vegetarian and I never have any shortage of choice when I come here. Fabio and his team also do not mind if you request a small change to dish (ie. I order the soup without the mozarella) either, which is always a pleasure. The pasta dishes are always delicious, very fresh ingredients but the pizzas are my absolute favourite.
I look forward to coming here again.

After 2 years of wanting to try Ragazzi and going to every other restaurant in Dalkey except Ragazzi, I finally made it in. We booked a table for 3 on pretty short notice but they were able to fit us in (in a kind of awkward table in the corner upstairs– but in nevertheless).
For my starter I chose the ensalata caprese… the mozz with the basil and olive oil was delicious. For my main I had been craving bolognese or something tomato based but when I saw the Italian sausage and broccoli pasta dish on the menu I knew I had to try it. It was amazing and the portion was huge. I’m used to «italian» restaurant chains in America that give giant portions of pasta, and this was right up there in size, but obviously much higher quality.
Service was friendly although it was a bit hard to get anyone’s attention from the table we were at.
Will definitely be back soon!

Great family run Italian restaurant in beautiful Dalkey. You need to try their Truffle Pasta, fabulous! Can’t wait to visit again!

It’s not easy when a group of some 35 slightly tipsy and very hungry people arrive in for an evening meal, 40 mins later than they said they would.
It plays merry hell with the kitchen who have already planned to have the meals well underway at that stage and had planned their evening accordingly.
I worked in a restaurant for years, I know just how awful (and yet, completely predictable) this is. The Irish should be taught to tell the time before they can read a book — it might make a difference, but I doubt it.
Anyway, this is what we did, a work night out and late to the restaurant; it didn’t seem to bother the staff at all, we were greeted with smiles, menus and drinks arrived quickly. Orders were taken and we all relaxed.
The meals when they arrived were incredibly good, I had the shrimp starter and got to try the carpaccio and calamari dishes as well– it was all perfect and fresh and tasty.
The mains were likewise spot-​on.
I make pizza at home, I make a very good pizza and one which I have rarely, if ever, had bettered in a restaurant of any description. Enter then Ragazzi and their pizza chef who probably deserves an Oscar or Nobel prize or something more suitable for foodies — it was incredibly good and easily beat my home efforts, really, it was superb.
Dessert, when it arrived, was ice-​cream for me — nout out of the ordinary, not homemade or anything, but very nice.
Prices were not crazy and service was noteworthy — particularly given the slightly tipsy crowd they were serving.
All in all, an excellent night and one I would happily recommend anyone try!

Never would have thought that one of the top meals of my life would be here. Dining area is small but well decorated for an evening with a date or spouse. Pizza was excellent, garlic bread also excellent.
What puts this place above any other I’ve been to in Ireland in the past week has been the SERVICE. Wait staff is attentive and actually «waits» on your needs. When the manager found out we were visiting from NYC he insisted on serving us a limoncello. Can’t remember the last time I left a restaurant feeling just so «good» overall. This is a stop that’s well worth the visit.
PS– the pizza here beats famed «New York style» pizza any day of the week and is as good as any pizza I saw and tried in Roma itself!!!

Theres something about Dalkey… an authentic old-​school Dublin posh hotspot. «quality» is awaiting you. All in the reputation?
Great italian food with good variety, pizzas are real, staff are Fab. I am afraid to spread the knowledge, but i have to share the love.

I love their prawns done in garlic. Good atmosphere a little close to tables but this is Dalkey and so there is a good chance you know them.
Food Italian food and good wine. Tables and awning outside.
