Yes, to be honest with you, the prices are quite high for ice cream, and the scoops are not really that large. However, the quality is outstanding and you do taste it! Besides the usual flavours some special signature flavours are offered, and all of them are truly delicious. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and they also let you try flavours before you buy. Besides regular scoops of ice cream you can also order special cups where the ice cream is mixed together with some other ingredients. Although those cups look nice and taste good, personally, I recommend to enjoy the pure flavours because they taste so exceptionally good.

Hands down, the best ice cream in all of Ireland… and I’m fat so I eat a lot of ice cream. The gin ice cream is exactly what the name says, and its incredible. The cookie ice cream is a close second on the yummy scale. If you’re not sure which flavor you’d like, the staff is more than happy to give you a taste(or 5).

When looking for places to eat in Dingle, this is one that came up repeatedly, so I thought I’d give it a shot. Certainly glad I did. Exotic flavors included the butterscotch, the sea salt & quite a few others you might not necessarily expect. Staff are willing to allow you to sample them & while it may be a bit on the expensive side(it’s sugar & milk, right — leprechauns didn’t poop this stuff out, did they?), on a hot day, it’s still worth it.

Amazing ice cream place right on the water. Spectacular flavors including one made with the locally distilled gin. Well worth the stop.

I didn’t have any intentions of seeking out ice cream in Ireland, but the flavors intrigued me. My husband and I stopped in between dinner and pub crawling. He got the chocolate sorbet since he’s dairy free, and it was terrific. The rich chocolate flavor was sweet and complex. It manages to be creamy without the dairy. I veered towards the Dingle gin(having just been to the distillery) and caramelized brown bread. It was a brilliant combo! The gin flavor was a knockout and tasted just like the gin itself. The brown bread provided a light toasty flavor and added a nice texture. It’s a must do in Dingle.

Best ice cream ever! Very creamy I recommend the cookie flavor and awsome local flavors such as gin, brown bread, and black current sorbet.

Really beautiful ice cream, i’ve been to it in Killarney and Dublin too and the quality is consistently great. Slightly pricey but it’s a nice treat once in a while. Brown Bread is delicious.

Murphy’s Ice Cream is simply amazing! This handmade ice cream is made naturally and locally in Ireland with high quality ingredients such as cream from local Kerry cows, sea salt from Dingle sea water, free range eggs, and organic sugar. The result is some of the best ice cream I have ever tasted! There were about a dozen flavors to choose from ranging from your typical chocolate and anilla to more exotic options such as caramel honeycomb or Dingle Sea Salt. I wanted to order a flavor that I would not be able to purchase in the U.S. so I ordered a scoop of the«aran donn»(Caramelized Brown Bread) and a scoop of «risini»(Real Rum Raisin). Ok… I know I can get rum raisin in the U.S., but I needed something to pair with my caramelized brown bread ice cream and this was some of the best rum raisin ice cream! The Caramelized Brown Bread ice cream was so unique because it had chunks of brown bread mixed in the ice cream which created one of a kind texture. I have never had anything like this in my life! Until I get the chance to visit Ireland again I will daydream about the heavenly Caramelized Brown Bread ice cream at Murphy’s!

Best ice cream so far in Ireland! It’ll melt fast though so be sure to eat it quick, but that’s not a problem since the flavors are so delicious. Also they are extremely nice and will let you sample everything!

I’m giving this 4 stars because I’ve been coming here for years and I think it used to be much better. I usually get one of the sorbets when I come and lately I’ve been finding little pieces of ice in it, which I really haven’t enjoyed however all the same it is still good ice cream! I would without a doubt reconnect it to a friend and have on multiple occasions!

Possibly the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The honeycomb Carmel, Kerry cream vanilla, blissful butterscotch, and dark chocolate sherbet are amazing. The ice cream is made from the Kerry cow which is rarer than the giant panda and the service is great. Go here if you want amazing ice cream

Splendid! They service is top notch and friendly. The employees(who seem to have the best job in the world) we’re so sweet. They have us samples of all the ice creams. And they had such a pleasant demeanor when tending to us. You have to try the dingle sea salt and the Irish coffee; both we’re so delicious. And the Irish coffee is by far the best coffee ice cream I have ever had.

Sea salt flavoured ice cream is a thing. And it’s bloody delicious! I popped in here for a spot of dessert this evening. Having been a Murphys Virgin, I didn’t know what to expect, but had heard ALOT about the Dublin store — let’s just say my expectations were high! Well, they were defiantly exceeded! The staff were incredibly friendly. The type of people that seem to «love their job»! I went for a small cone of SEASALT flavour and HONEYCOMB(amazing combo)! The ice cream has that home made taste and texture, and the cone itself is a proper biscuit one… not one of those flimsy wafer ones! Delish! Cannot wait to try more flavours!

This place. Oh my gosh! So many flavours, so much ice cream and it all tastes so good. This place has so many awards, and I can totally see why. The staff are lovely and answer all your questions as well as inviting you to sample all the flavours. They are also great at recommending what flavours go well together which was awesome as it encouraged me to try flavours I wouldn’t normally have. I ended up getting caramelised brown bread, butterscotch and silky smooth chocolate.. All of which were delicious. I would so recommend coming to Murphy’s for an after dinner treat!

So you really have to hand it to staff when they are so finely attuned to the needs of frazzled parents that they offer the mother standing beside me some ice cream on the house, clearly spotting she’s on the verge of a nervous breakdown, with four kids in tow fighting furiously over whose cone is bigger or better than the next. Now that’s class. The staff here are so lovely that you don’t mind handing over twenty quid for your troubles every time you step inside the door. And the coffee is first-rate. Beware, though. Lest you think you can pass by abstemiously(ice cream, unlike bread, can’t lure you in with its aroma, not even the brown bread variety), staff are prowling the streets offering samples. You will succumb, so don’t try to fight it,

Good ice cream, but very very expensive. We shared a medium Bailey’s Irish Cream and Coffee…5.80euro/$ 8! Its good, but 6 months ago I was eating medium sized Gelato in Italy for only 3euro… but thats not a completely fair comparison I suppose.

Wer sagt denn dass man nach Italien muss um gutes Eis zu kriegen? Sean and Kieran Murphy beweisen das Gegenteil.
