Mon premier fish and chips, et je n’ai pas été déçue ! Le poisson est très bon ! Dommage que la sauce tartare né soit pas maison(sachet). Les frites sont bonnes mais sans plus.

Greasy but tasty gluten free fish and chips — CHECK! His place was an excellent find for us in Dublin, where at least one meal of fish and chips is a much. I was sad that I’d have to miss out on that particular ritual, but was so pumped to find Beshoff Bros! It didn’t have the charm of an old Irish pub — more like a fast food place, but it was clean and had gluten free fish and chips. I’d eat here again the next time I’m in Dublin. They use all desperate equipment for the gluten free fish and chips and take it very seriously, which is amazing. I really appreciated that!

Maybe it was an off day but came in here expecting a lot more, fish was ok but chips tasted almost stale better off sticking to the local chipper !

I don’t know if its the air in Ireland or my ancestry coming out, but had a few too many the night before and figured a good plate of Fish & Chips would cure me. Walked over to Leo Burdock’s and saw they didn’t have seating(it was a bit nippy outside), so I headed over to Beshoff, since it had seating and looked warm inside. Set-up is like a typical fast food joint. Order at the counter and they bring out your food. Ordered the Seafood Chowder and Fish & Chips. Seafood Chowder? Delicious. Perfect for warming up and Filling. Very tasty and they don’t skimp on the seafood. Fish & Chips? Excellent. The Chips were prepared crispy and the fish was fried to perfection. Couldn’t eat it all, but it definitely cured me.

Klare Empfehlung.

It was a cold winter evening as we passed by this small, narrow street corner fish & chip shop. We were looking for some tasty food. We had no real idea of what we wanted to eat having had a good lunch in the Courtyard hotel in Leixslip. As we passed by here the door opened with s few people exiting with take away food and the waft of fish and chips hit our noses. Impulse. Decision made. It was darn good. We had perfectly cooked, battered cod and chips around € 9 and a portion of equally good cod fish bites(6 chunky pieces — € 8). We also ordered a portion of fresh cooked battered onion rings, 5 pieces(€ 2.35) and these were huge with lovely big slices of sweet onion. The food was not served on plates but dished up in greaseproof paper nestled in wooden boxes! The batter coating the fish and onion was crispy light, thin and bubbly. Bubbly is good. The cod was really fresh and decently thick. Chips pretty darn good too. Unlimited Pepsi(€ 2.75).We paid at the counter and our food was cheerfully and quickly brought to us. It’s wonderful to get such good value and tasty food in the heart of ever bustling seriously overpriced Dublin. The café chain is s bit like the Irish version of Harry Ramsdens with its own label brand of tomato ketchup on the tables as well as the usual salt and brown malt vinegar. The café is heated by two electric fires that just about managed to keep the café lukewarm but as there was a fairly continual flow of customers, mostly takeaway orders, coming and going winter was bring brought in with them. The very clean toilets are only for customer use with staff behind the counter releasing a lock to open the door to let you reach the toilets, which are at the bottom of a white tiled and narrow, steep stairway.

The chef at this place was very rude and aggressive with the other employee working. It was very uncomfortable to watch and highly unprofessional. The food is ok but the atmosphere created by this aggressive chef was not nice at all.

Delicious high quality seafood, clean well managed restaurant, and friendly and efficient staff. This review is also for Carolina, who’s personable and warm character motivated us to leave this review. :)

Gluten free fish and chips initially caught my attention about a year ago and then I promptly forgot about it until recently. I went in filled with anticipation, could this really be good fried food AND gluten free? Firstly the interior design of this place is simple, modern and very very clean, they had some articles on the walls about how the chain first got started and I found it very interesting. Staff was so nice and friendly that I almost had my meal in the restaurant instead of to go. I had gone in wanting fish and chips but was then altered that most of the menu could be made gluten free so I got the scampi which was devine. All in all I am so positive and happy with this place that I will be back for sure.

Food was good! We were in Dublin city today and ate there. We left and an hour later my eight year old niece needed to use the bathroom. I figured because we had eaten there an hour before they would let us use it. A very rude counter hand informed me that my eight year old niece could not use the bathroom. I won’t be going back and I certainly don’t recommend this restaurant(even though food was good). This is my first negative review ever but I cannot abide by an establishment that would not let a child use the bathroom.

This place was recommended to us by a native Irishman. It was the best fish and chips our trip. The cod was fresh and the batter was light and crispy! The chips were fresh as well. The tartar sauce topped it off. Overall a lovely meal!

A+++ for still being open late at night, and the food being just as good as it is in the middle of the day. Not much else to say than it is the best fish and chips in Ireland, whether it be this smaller establishment or a bigger one, and even at midnight.

One of our favourite spots anywhere. We sampled a few fish and chip spots in Dublin and the batter, fish and fries here were our favourite.

Well! First off, we were welcomed into the shiny cleanliness of Beshoff’s Dame Street with a big smile from a gentleman of possibly Pakistani or Indian origin. Who says that an Irish welcome can only come from native Irish people? Well, he was wrong-diddly-ong. I ordered the calamari and chips with a side of garlic sauce included, plus a Pepsi(no Coca Cola available) for € 9.55, and it was delivered quickly and with a smile by another member of staff. There are some lovely photos of the history of the business on the walls, including a really cool newspaper article about Ivan Beshoff, the Russian immigrant who founded the business. Quite the handsome devil in his youth, Ivan was apparently one of the rebels on the Potemkin in 1905 pre-revolutionary Russia –how cool that? A wonderful little nugget of Dublin’s history that a sailor on the Potemkin settled here and founded one of the most recognisable family brands in the city. He was even given an obituary in the New York Times. Oh, the calamari and chips were lovely, not at all greasy and cooked to a T. Nom.

I thought this place just lovely ! as far as chippers go anyway ! really was super fresh fish and chips ! decent portions ! not as big as the likes of Leo Burdocks but still filling ! what I love about the place is they do «low cal» type meals… so say you can get a fish meal but with a salad instead of chips or an extremely small portion of chips or whichever… plus they list all their calories beside their meal too. the place is spotless and the service was quick and the staff were lovely and cleaned up straight after us and all… ive been here a few times now and I love it… they do gluten free also and herbal teas ! its comfy seating inside too. normally I hate going out for fast food type things. I love the food but I always find sitting in them quite uncomfortable or «cold» if that makes sense. but this place has a nice warm feeling … i think its better than Burdocks too

I heard this place was decent so decided to go here instead of Leo Burdocks. The portions are much smaller, the prices are higher, and I must say the food was just a-okay. The best part of going here was it started to pore so we had shelter… so that is a good thing.

I would never ever thank this place enough to gave me a chance to try a real fish and chips in Dublin. As I’m coeliac I was convinced that it was out of idea to give it a try, but I saw their ad in the streets and got there. So I took the regular fish n chips, we had to wait a little bit since it’s a special meal, but when I finally tried it it was delicious ! The fries were very good as well… I would definitely go back there as soon as I can ! I saw they’re doing fried prawns gluten free as well, can’t wait to try it
