My second favourite pizza in Dublin. This one is close to where I work. Nice lunch deals with pizza sized just right for one person. Quality toppings and good dough. Quick service for walk-ins, but you can call ahead too.

Had the meatball hoagie and was very surprised as to how good it was. The meal came with some nice string fries and overall I was barely able to finish everything and really probably shouldn’t have but it was just that good.

In the area for a meeting and looking for somewhere for lunch. In the heart of the IFSC(assuming ‘heart’ and ‘financial services’ can be used in the same sentence) there is a cluster of the usual depressing and soulless places usually associated with business districts. O’Briens sandwich? Check SPAR deli and supermarket? Check. This place looked different so I opted for this over the usual suspects. It wasn’t half bad. Decked out like a stylists idea of a New York pizza place, it featured wall to wall Noo Yawk photos and signage. Whatever. I ordered the ‘special’ Philly Steak on Calzone with fries and coke. Take that America! It was good, the service was excellent and the price was more than reasonable. Would I come back? Maybe but only because the alternatives seem so poor by comparison. You could do worse.

«I wish I was at Paulie’s.» That’s what I told my husband after my first bite of pizza. Paulie’s is a pizzeria just a few blocks away and the reason why we were not at Paulie’s is because they are not open for lunch. Given our hangover craving for pizza and being in the area, we made our way to Broadway New York Eatery(there seems to have been a name change from Broadway Pizza Parlour). The hubby and I ordered a medium pizza, half pepperoni, half sausage. Being a New York-ish restaurant, I was expecting the sausage to be clumps of sausage but it was instead slices of sausage which looked a lot like slices of sick pepperoni. The pizza took forever and a day to arrive. In fact, two tables seated after us who ordered non-pizza dishes were served their food and finished their food before we got our pizza. I’m not sure what happened there but it was an insane wait — almost an hour which seems like three hours when you’re hungover and starving. «The best pizza in Dublin» is a line I read many times whilst reading reviews of Broadway NY Eatery/Pizza Parlour and I have to say that no, this is not the best pizza in Dublin. It’s average pizza at best. I’ve had frozen pizza that’s on par with the pizza served up here. Ouch, I know, but that’s the truth.

This is quite possibly the best pizza in Dublin. The food here is amazing, just like I used to get in NYC. No quick bake machines here, the pizzas are cooked over an open fire. The crazy thing is the prices here are better than many of the major chains. The smallest size they have is 9″ but even that is more than enough for one person. They also have great take-away deals or you can dine in as they have tables so you can sit down and grab a beer as well. I found this place three days ago and have been back every day.

Very cheap and substantial food. Would go here for Friday work lunches, actually if out on the Thursday before, this would be the go to place for the hangover stodge fix. For this purpose, I’d recommend the curry which comes with a hefty portion of chicken curry, rice and nans. They also have the most keen eyed ridiculously efficient maitre d ever(if that’s what you’d call that kind of job in this type of diner like establishment:). We’ve previously arrived at the door with 8 people in the queue at front and still got a table 5 mins later. This woman has an eye for business and never turns anyone away. Other restaurants take note. This place cleans up during lunch!

A bit like being on man v food — happy days! Great Philly Cheesesteak for € 9 at lunch time, plenty of meat which is essential and the roll was lovely(seemed homebaked). There is some great value to be had here. Very organised staff, and they have to be, the place is packed at lunchtime. This was my first time and will not be the last, there was a lot of stuff on the menu and on the specials boards(all around the interior) that I want to try. Genuine American feel from the place, the lounge/light american rock music helps!

Popped in here recently on the run for a quick bite to eat. It is very much on the style of New York Pizzerias offering pizza by the slice, hoagie style rolls along with the usual pastas and starters you expect from a pizzeria. It is very popular with the student population in NCI across the road and the specials are probably why. 2 slices and a soda @€ 5 can’t be bad and it wasn’t. pizza served thin base(on request) just the way I like it. My partners in crime both had the meatball roll with a side of shoestring fries. Nice and crispy and freshly cooked. Neither was able to finish their meal. No mean feat as these two can put their grub away. Nothing on the menu was over a € 10 and service was fast, food hot and tasty. Will I be back?. probably, no definately, nice cheery New York décor and feel to the place and value for money is A1 with specials and prices not to be sneezed at. I dropped one star because we dropped our cutlery(by mistake) and even though the waiting staff were very quiet they didn’t offer to replace. A boo boo in my books.
