I talked to the same lady I talked to before, who again went through everything. I also talked to someone who looked like he was in charge. I didn’t go for daal puri as I was doing takeaway, but I mentioned I wanted to try it and the guy gave me a pancake for free just to try. It was thin, splittable, and didn’t have much of its own flavour but made eating more fun when I put things inside it. I liked the chicken biryani(chicken legs and breasts in spiced rice) and the chickpea side(which was nicely spiced and in sauce); the fish has bones and the lamb can be fatty but I believe that makes it real. I’d really like to go there with a Mauritian friend who can tell me his/her favourites and order something off the menu instead of from the buffet.
