One of my ultimate go-to shops, I love their casual range and seasonal they always have some amazing styles. I’m a big fan of their Blazers/coats also their chino/jeans range are great and although the pricer of the high street stores, everything wears and washes really well making their clothes great value. What’s stands out here too is the customer service; they are so attentive and anyone whose assisted me have always been very thorough; checking the stock room for you without the huffs or sighs that you get from other stores plus they also offer advice on tailoring and in fact, you can have alterations done with them so after buying they measure you up and within a few days you can collect and your purchase is as snug as a bug… Very handy to know, for me I’m short to finding the right leg length is always difficult.

Excellent range of marino wool suits! The outfits you can put together in this store are amazing. They specialize in earthier tones. A lot of browns, navys, blacks and dark purples. Perfect for slender men who want to look good but not break the bank! This shop really brings a lot of mainland European style to our shores!

I’ve passed this place many times, but never entered. Until recently. Massimo Dutti stocks some very nice clothes at reasonably affordable prices. Nice cut, conservative colours, understated. The ladies’ section is on the ground floor, and the gents’ upstairs. While the Massimo Dutti brand is possibly as mass-market as it gets, the place feels very intimate: lots of space, high ceilings, clothes not stuffed in every corner, jazz tinkling softly in the background. One of the highlights of my unintended visit was the service. Heck, I didn’t even mean to buy anything. But the sales assistants were able to strike a balance between discretion and attentiveness, neither stalking me interferingly(Can-I-help-you-sir-is-everything-okay?) nor ignoring me completely. At the counter, the assistant made polite small talk while wrapping my new shirt in tissue paper before placing it in the bag. Maybe I’m just not used to such service, but this alone made me feel like I had underpaid — even if wallet disagrees.
