I love Accessorize, especially during the sales when there’s up to 70% off most items in the shop. They have accessories for all events, occasions and seasons, from cosy winter woolies to elegant wedding hats and fancy hair feathers. The jewellery ranges from rustic to delicate, casual to dressy, but with very little in the way of glitter or diamanté. There’s handbags to suit all needs, whether you’re seeking a clutch bag to match your evening gown, or a massive satchel to carry a load of books in. There’s a really lovely selection of leather wallets, which are worth the investment as they are made from beautifully soft but durable leather. In the summer, Accessorize is a great place to pick up pretty flip flops or dressier sandals, and they stock a fantastic selection of sunglasses from vintage and retro styles to the most modern frames, that look designer-expensive but only cost around twenty euro.

Just as I wish I could buy every single thing in Monsoon, so I wish I could buy every single thing in this place, Monsoon’s shop dedicated to accessories. The jewelry, purses, hair accessories, hats, umbrellas and more are all really young, fun and pretty. There is a hefty dose of glitz here, but everything manages to avoid straying over the edge to cheesy and tacky. I find the necklaces especially nice, having fallen in love with a pretty bauble with a teeny bird in a tiny cage. Winter weather gear like scarves, hats and gloves are very, very adorable and would be a great way to keep things fashionable when you’re otherwise bundled up. Upstairs they sell adorable clothes for babies and kids. The highlight is definitely the frilly, foofy fancy stuff, probably designed for flower girls in wedding parties. The only downside is that I think everything is too expensive. While the stuff is cute, I don’t think it’s quality enough to demand the attached prices.

I don’t like shopping here — it’s always way too busy, the clothes are cluttered together in tight bunches on the racks so it’s very hard to get a piece out and the whole place just screams Ahhhhhhh claustrophobia!!! Or is that just me?

A lot of people bunch Monsoon with the ‘granny’ type stores, unsuitable for us young ‘uns. But I disagree. I actually really like their stuff… it’s bright and colourful and different to much of the other so-called ‘high street’ stores. Of course when you go in there, there’s a fair smattering of older ladies, and it is a tad disconcerting if you’re looking at something and then little Mrs. Jones who lived through the war(though which one you’re not quite sure) takes a shine to it too… but it’s all about how you put it together people. Because they really are nice, though the prices can be prohibitively(how little Mrs. Jones can afford said item of clothing off the pension from the bank where she worked before she married and had to quit is a mystery never to be solved…)

Love love love this place. It’s great for anything accessory-wise(the name is so misleading, right??!). So we’re talking hats, bags, purses, jewellery, flip flops, head pieces etc. I find it particularly great if I’m going to a wedding or the races. I buy an outfit, head to accessorize, and customize it with some pretty bangles r maybe a brooch. It’s also a great way to transform an old outfit you have in the back of your wardrobe without spending a fortune!

Monsoon is a nice store. I have to admit, their clothing range is stunning, gorgeous and elegant. They specialise in wedding dresses, bridesmaid dresses, evening dresses, occasional tops, skirts and trousers. As well as elegant accesories. I always visit monsoon if I want to buy an elegant dress, but be warned the prices are very high. The cheapest item is probably between £50−70! But their product range is of very good quailty, hence the price. Monsoon is the kind of store you will visit if you want to spoil yourself and have the money. The changing rooms are very nice and the staff are always on hand if you need any help. A great store with great staff.
