With my boyfriend we had a big desire to eat burritos, so we tried those from Pablo picante. First we took the cheesy quesadilla with guacamole, just Devine! And for the burritos we took both the sonny San Diego. I was disappointed about the texture of the chicken and the rice was for me too much cooked. But instead, my boyfriend said that was his best burritos, and he is still dreaming about their burritos. So you have to try!

I like Pablo Picante. Its a pretty decent alternative to one of the many chained fast food joints which overrun this lovely city of ours. The music is usually good here too. The man who brought me my burrito called me ‘Hombre’. This made me feel like a real man. The kind who carries a smith and wesson, wears a stetson like Paul Newman and shoots baddies or makes pasta sauce — whatever Paul is doing with himself nowadays up beyond the pearly gates. Any budding cowboys or gun slingers take note — don’t have your rifle(or sportsbag) hanging off your back if you go to use the John. You would’nt be able to swing a cat in there. But who brings their cat for a burrito eh? The soft tortilla wrap was packed tighter than a wallet on a miserable tinder date. It is a delight to eat when you swipe the foil right off. I went for the Burrito with Steak, and I thought it was pretty nice — adorned with smokey salsa it was’nt the kind of meal that would have you calling for the fire brigade to squash the flames in your gullett — which is just fine by me! They do a student deal here for € 6.50, which involves a burrito of your choice and a can of softdrink or a bottle of water. I want to try their Paleo Box from their menu some time. The bright table cloths are a nice touch aswell, a little bit of colour never hurt anyone. Even the most hardened of Gringo!

Best burritos in Dublin! I went for the spiciest sauce and was not disappointed, I could hear fire alarms ringing in my ears whilst I devoured the tasty Mexican treat. I love to make burritos and tacos myself and these rival my infamous homemade ones. The décor is cool and the staff are super friendly, will def be back!

Nice and cozy place with good location. The burritos are not amazing, they are ok. They have a fair price and the atmosphere was good. Really like the cute little booths they have. Would like more cheese on the burrito when it says it is on tge burrito, but overall it was fine. Staff wasn’t the best, we had to wait for a long time because they were distracted. Seeing as it is close to Temple Bar, i might return for another quick meal on a night out.

The burrito itself was OK. Definitely not like what you would get in the States or Mexico though. The reason for the two star rating is that the employees were rude when I first went in. I always wash my hands before eating and since I was alone I went directly to the bathroom. Apparently that was not OK. The grouchy Lady working snapped at me for it and I was like I just want to wash my hands first. She replied FINE!!! I still ate there because, I did use their bathroom but, isn’t there something better you can do than question paying customers?

La mejor parte de los burritos es ponerle salsa picante. Me siento en Mexico, los mejores burritos de Irlanda sin duda !!

I love it! Pricing is fair, Seating area can be a bit crowded at times but its just because of the size of the place. Defo recommended.

I give them 4 stars because the food was okay, and the establishment is pretty cool on the inside(extra star power earned there) but they don’t get 5 stars because the burrito really is kind of average compared to the Little Ass Burrito Bar and Tuzo’s. It’s sort of — lacking something. I did just get whatever the regular beef burrito was with a side of guacamole and I was there extremely late — you could say drunk food late. I’m not saying don’t go to this place, it has a «hang out» type of atmosphere and like I said cool décor and the hours it is open in Temple Bar might make it convenient, but if you’re specifically on a search for the best burrito place in Dublin I would suggest trying one of the other restaurants I mentioned.

Disclaimer: I was raised around authentic Mexican food, so this review might be askew. I’ve always been intrigued by the name of this establishment during my late nights in Temple Bar, but they’re always closed by the time I’m done drinking! I decided to come and give this place a try; and walking in, I thought the mosaic in the décor was lovely. I ordered the Señor Delgado(€ 6.25) since the guy at the register said it was a smaller burrito; I normally can’t finish a regular sized one so I decided on that one. The burrito came with marinated, roasted chicken, black beans, feta cheese, guacamole and verde salsa in a tomato tortilla – obviously a healthier option. When my burrito came, I took a bite in and I was slightly disappointed because the meat was soggy. Nothing about the chicken was«roasted». I did, however, enjoy the verde salsa. Being in Dublin, I’ve realized how difficult it is to find hot sauce around here, so it was nice to finally get some heat in my food! I would come back to give it another chance, but I wouldn’t recommend it until I do. Sorry, Pablo. TIP: Student discount € 6.50 for a burrito, drink, and salsa of your choice.

Worst Burrito ive ever had. Go to Boojum instead. Dry, tough, chewy and ganky meat. Ingredients poorly mixed together. Just slapped up together. There was no love in that burrito !!! pure miserable !!!

I don’t understand why this place is getting good reviews … unless I was just unlucky ? Ok so I got the beef burrito. it really was one of the worst burritos I’ve ever had. The meat was the toughest and chewiest of meats. like I’m sure rubber would be easier to chew. it was so dry as well. Not just the meat but the whole burrito . Even the way the burrito was put together was awful. my first few bites was just the meat. and all the rice was down the bottom. and a load of tomatos placed in the middle. nothing was mixed in. my boyfriend got the chicken burrito and his was the same. dry. so dry and meat on one side. rice shoved and hidden down the other. We didn’t finish them anyway. Tables weren’t cleared up after customers. Not straight away anyway … you wouldn’t care if the staff were busy. but lets just say if the staff have time to be talking to each other chit chatting behind the counter then they would have time to clear the tables. As harsh as that sounds.. Or even once they see a customer sit down they could clean them instead of having customers do it themselves. They weren’t helpful with the order either. They couldn’t take it quick enough Let’s say . Do yourselves a favour and bring your burrito custom to boojum. or even to burritos and blues on Camden street

I cannot get enough of this place. Ever since the wonderful Burrito Blowout, I have been craving some Pablo’s. Unfortunately I’m not in town anywhere near enough to sample the delights this place has to offer. The burritos are absolutely HUGE. They weigh about the same as a small baby, but taste twice as good.(That was a joke, I do not endorse cannibalism in any way) There are many options to choose from and every one I have tried so far has been a magical experience for my tastebuds. My only grievance is that the burritos don’t hold together well. not a big deal seeing as they come in a little wooden bowl, you can always cut up the remaining bits and eat them. My husband is a big fan of hot hot hot, which Pablo’s is a little lacking in. However, a few Spanish words later and they’ll give you something to really talk about. Smashing spot. Both of them are. Highly recommended if you’re starving and only have a tenner in your pocket.

Me encantaaaa! Excelente locación y buen servicio, de verdad lo recomiendo.

Pablo Picante was Dublin’s first Burrito joint and they just opened a third location in the middle of Temple Bar. Seems to prove that there is a lot of Burrito potential in Dublin’s fair city! The burritos are big, the meat is tasty, and the salsas range from natural to super spicy. Unlike the location at Clarendon Market they have different sorts of salsa available on each table(big plus!) — if you feel the need to add extra spice to your burrito then this is for you. The store is not too big but they managed to put in seating for about 20+ people which makes it a cozy and rather intimite burrito experience. This store is definitely a good addition to the Pablo Picante family. I’ll be back!

Ate at Pablo Picante for the second time today, but it was my first visit to this location. Temple Bar can be overwhelming with tourists, but the entrance for Pablo’s is easy to find. The service is courteous and friendly– great work! The food tasty and fresh! It is crowded seating, so not a place I would want to be in with a que. Nice food though!

The Pablo in question is a fictitious character, an ex luchador, created to be the brand ambassador for Ireland’s first real burrito outlet. Their range is quite large. The Smokie and Super Picante are my favourites. Last visit I had the chicken. It was OK. I’ve noticed that the quality of the sauces vary from day to day. The inconsistency is beginning to turn me off. On the up side the staff are always nice!

Very nice restaurant, once you walk in there is a very unique, very authentic feeling ranch vide to the place. The staff are friendly, they’re informative, they helped us pick how spicy a sauce we wanted, they recommended things and pointed out any special offers that they had. There is a set menu of burritos of different meats in different flavors ranging from pork, chicken, beef, vegetarian, very decent selection. I ordered the«burrito barbecua«, The burrito was very tasty I got their spiciest sauce which was quite spicy but very nice if you are a lover of spicy food. The shredded beef in the burrito was very flavorful had a nice taste to it but it could’ve used a little more sauce or smoky flavor to it. The value was good we got two burritos and two sodas for € 12. The size of the Burrito was quite good and you would certainly be filled after eating one. My biggest complaint would be that the gents was a disgrace it was gross.

I visited Pablo’s recently as part of Unilocal’s Burrito Blow Out. I have been to the various Pablo’s a few times over the years and have found that the service and standard vary a little so I haven’t been to one in a while. Also, personally I just prefer a different type of burrito, with more salad, sour cream and garlic. I visited with two friends, we were in Temple Bar one evening and Pablo’s is perfectly located. Pablo’s always seems to be busy and doesn’t have much seating but luckily this evening although we had to queue everyone was getting a takeaway. My two friends got served before me and as I got my Unilocal Burrito Passport stamped I believe the service improved just a little bit. Woo, perks of being a Unilocaler! The service wasn’t bad before but my friend had asked for tap water and was told they didn’t have any but when I asked they offered to fill a large ramekin with some. It could also have been my feminine charm that did it. I ordered the veggie burrito which comes with salsa, vegetables cooked with rosemary, guacamole and feta cheese all wrapped up in a herb tortilla. It was ok but I’m not sure rosemary goes with the other flavours. My friends however loved theirs, they both got meaty ones with extra sour cream(I can’t remember which ones). They raved about them and couldn’t believe they’d never come to Pablo’s before as it is so central. The service continued to be excellent throughout our meal, we were asked if we wanted more water and my friend also got some. If I return I’ll try a meaty burrito with extra sour cream and guacamole, they look the tastiest. Oh and I loved the patterned table cloths.

Despite a bad experience with another location, I decided to give this one a try seen as it’s so close to my house and oh so tempting. I have gotten burritos there at least 10 times and they have been pleasantly consistant in taste. If I had one bad thing to say it would be contained in one word: coriander. Now I know it’s an integral part of mexican cuisine but I really really hate the stuff and it’s in 95% of their menu, which is why I can only get the same burrito without sauce. Overall the taste is a 3 star, good, nothing too special.

Pablo’s is the gold standard in Dublin. They have 7 salsa options, and they get very spicy if you like that. Not me though, I’m a salsa verde man! Most places in Dublin let you pick your own fillings, but Pablo’s gives you a choice of burritos. This means you don’t have to worry about whether pinto beans or black beans go better with your shredded pork. Their options are very tasty, which is great. I wish they served milk though, they’re serving very spicy options, and there’s never any solution to the problem… I’ve yet to notice any difference in quality between temple bar Pablo and baggot street Pablo, so give either a go, they’re both great!
