Really liked this place! Just outside the city centre, it’s a must go to! I’m not mad about pizzas but I’ve had one of the best pizzas here! Staff are so friendly and it’s a cool young venue! Every Sunday they have a flip the coin competition and your in for a free round of drinks! The deco is old Irish pub meets late alternative! Great place to go to for a relaxed dinner!

An excellent venue for a few bevvies, some grub and a general good time. On our last visit we rocked up to find a game of Cards Against Humanity in full swing. And they got the game from behind the bar! Non-PC fun for all! First mention to their app. Download it and it’s has lots of offers that you can avail of. Like a complimentary dessert with dinner. Or a free pint if you do the South Bull Wall walk. But the offer you don’t need the app for is the Sunday coin flip. Order a round, pay for it and flip a coin. Or rather the bar person flips a coin and if you call it right, you get the same round again for free. But games, apps and coin flips aside, I’ve mainly had memorable visits with friends and buddies with food and some bevvies. Staff are friendly and up for a laugh too. Recommended.

Full Irish breakfast pizza, mimosas, a cozy booth where you can hide with your friends, lovely staff. Definitely a fun addition to the weekend brunch wish list.

I have been looking for a local for a while now, and every time I passed Sober Lane, I saw so much potential. I originally heard about them through social media, but for a pub that tries so hard to run so many themed nights, it’s quite obvious they don’t have enough people rolling through here. I came here for Sunday Brunch with the girls and it was a disappointing experience. First, we tried to order two items on the list, but our server said they didn’t have certain ingredients. It was a Sunday, so I let it slide – seeing as I’m sure their stock comes in during the week and not on weekends. Second, we ordered the Sweet Potato Fries, but they were came roasted in large chunks. Perhaps an update from Sweet Potato Fries to Roasted Sweet Potato Wedges is needed? Third, I ordered their omelette, and you honestly can’t mess up an omelette, right? Wrong. My omelette came overcooked and tough to chew. It was quite disappointing, to be honest. My server was extremely friendly, however, the man behind the bar that day was not very welcoming. He couldn’t be arsed and his lack of interest/concern was palpable. The only upsides to this place are the muppet decorations and the quirky bathroom stalls. But seeing as the bathroom is one of the two things I liked about this establishment, I might need to pass on future outings at Sober Lane.

Sober Lane adds a fun quirky pub to the BURBS of Dublin. Just outside the city centre Sober Lane brings in happy punters through their fun social media but importantly AMAZING offers. Get the APP! Oh my it rewards BIG time. Through snapping your meal or checking in you can get discounts and even free drinks, can’t get much better than that. Tis a good excuse as any to see a different part of Dublin not usually associated with nightlife other than after a match at the Aviva stadium. Great themed nights so check out their site/social media before heading over to see what you’re in for! Highly recommend it for the start of a great night out or catch up over a delish brunch.

Back at Sober Lane D4 to use up the voucher I won for brunch the day of the Unilocal Bizarre Brunch(yay for social media!) Had booked a table for 1pm but thanks to decent public transport we arrived early. That was no issue as it wasn’t that busy. I’m surprised it wasn’t much busier! We picked a table in one of their snugs. Lovely and private. I ordered mimosas — they’re really good. Food wise I ordered the classic chicken goujon bap. Didn’t realise they came with homemade crisps(potato chips!) and I ordered a portion of sweet potato wedges. Wasn’t going to order anything else but ended up ordering a coffee and the have it your way waffles with strawberries, chocolate sauce & ice-cream. This place really ought to be busier. Well worth coming out of the city centre for! I can’t give less than a five. The food was delicious! The staff are laid back, good tunes in the background. There’s quite a cool vibe about the place. I want to come back to try their evening menu. The black pudding and apple pizza that I noticed on their menu outside intrigues me :)

1pm brunch on a Saturday and it was really quiet so the reservation wasn’t really needed. It’s quite big which I wasn’t expecting. The menu is well put together with lots of options. I had the omelette which was as described massive stuffed with onion and ham. It was good but perhaps a bit over cooked. The sweet potato fries were huge and very nice. Tea was served in a big old school mug for a change with the tea bag still in which suited me. Overall pretty good and value for money.

Brunch was super cool & fun. I have since been back for a drink and I think it is a really relaxed place that you can go to catch up with friends. The staff are lovely and service is good. Must try for an alternative brunch.

A visit on a Friday night and you’ll find yourself in Mexico… Ha ha, well not Mexico exactly but Mexican night @soberlane with themed food on offer plus drink offers to match such as € 20 for 5 bottles of corona with a sombrero thrown in :-) In for some dinner and a few drinks, the staff were friendly and chatty… Everyone was chilled out which is exactly what I needed. Had the beef chilli nachos to share which was yumtastic, super flavoursome then followed with the Cajun chicken burger with sweet potato fries… Man, these burgers are big and filling plus may I add, great value… Think it was € 12 for it and whilst I didn’t see sight of any dessert options/menu, ye’d be hard pressed to squeeze anything else in! Hubby enjoyed the black pudding beef burger. They have other themes nights on their menu, Tuesday is pub quiz so might check that one out! They have a dedicated sober lane app which you can get offers through like free size with your pizza or check in at the pool beg lighthouse and get a free drink — worth a download for sure!

I first came to sober lane for a Unilocal event and totally loved the place. It’s great to see a bar that is trying something different. Ok so it’s a little bit out of town but I really think it offers enough to bring me out. It’s always busy and has a great vibe so I’m obviously not the only person that feels this way. They are really big into social media and even have an app. They have really fun offers like to cure your hangover on a Sunday you can check in at poolbeg lighthouse and then after the walk they will give you a free drink. You will see the other offers in the photos but they are all awesome I love the Lego one and also the drawing competition. The décor is awesome — the coolest in Dublin with cows hanging from the ceiling and amazing art. The food is really great although I have only had brunch and lunch but really enjoyed both. The options are really different and I love the full Irish pizza. So if you are looking for somewhere new to try definitely check this place out — also would be great for a big gang !

I like what they do in Sober Lane. Good food, jovial atmosphere, lots of promos, a bitta music, and quirky surroundings. Some of the stuff they do include: — Mexican Fiesta night where you get x 2 Mexican pizzas, x 2 Tequila goujons, 1x nachos, 4 x Coronas, 1 x jug of Margaritas for 50 yoyos. Unreal. — Flip A Coin every Sunday — so you buy a round, then flip with the bar tender to get the next round for free. Not bad at all. Above all, the staff seem to really enjoy working there, which I always say shines through. It’s all good fun, and that’s alright with me.

Visited Sober Lane for an Elite event and had such a great Sunday, filled with lots of tasty food, good company and fab entertainment! Really enjoyed some of the things we got to sample from the brunch menu. The pizzas were awesome, nice crispy crust, and I really liked the toastie and soup shot. I loved the chicken slider, my fav might be the waffle, though the monkey granola was also divine! It’s a great menu with a little something for everyone, and a fun twist on the traditional Irish Breakfast ingredients. The Viva la Veggie and the omelette were nothing special, and I thought the pizzas could use more of the toppings. During the event the mimosas were endless and my glass was constantly full, attentive staff and a great atmosphere. The pub is gorgeous, loved the décor, great music as well, everything you want from a modern pub. The back room where the event was held was perfect for a big group. It’s a pity this place is so far from where I live, but I have a feeling we’ll be back for seconds of the Brunch menu very soon!

Had Sober Lane on my radar for some time now and on Sunday I was invited to a Unilocal Elite event there! Boom! #BizarreBrunch(check it out). Anyway, this is a little gem of a pub/venue. There were a few things I took away from my visit there. 1. They are seriously cool! Its totally on trend and these guys have cool weekly competitions, one was a time based Lego building challenge! I’ll be back for that one. It would be a great place for an event, work or personal. The love a good themed party! Ohh and sports — Its a wicked place for the sports and being close to the Aviva the atmosphere must be great on match days. 2. FOOD! So we got a sample of their brunch menu! Yeah, you won’t be disappointed. From breakfast Sliders, to the Full Irish Pizza, its all good! But the stand out for me was the Tomato soup and cheese toastie… dip the toastie into the soup and bob’s your uncle! Great hang over cure! :) Can’t wait to get back and try the evening menu.

Came here to try the new brunch menu. Breakfast pizzas wouldn’t be my first choice as I’m more health conscious but the granola pots were unreal(I tried the strawberry one). Definitely a good hangover cure. Cool place, definitely want to come here for drinks sometime.

Regular pub with a regular staff and no big deal food. I went there after a tag rugby competition on ringsend, where it was supposed to have free pizza offered by the pub — they brought 10 small slices for 12 people. Off course that not everyone got food.

Don’t know what I make of this place really. I came here for a bite to eat and to watch a match before going to the greyhound races. I ordered the quesdillas and my dining partners both got pulled pork wraps. I know at least one of them didn’t really care for it. I thought the quesadillas weren’t bad flavour-wise but the avocado in them was hard… like you know when you’re cutting into an avocado if it’s ripe or not so I don’t know why it was put in the quesadilla. The sweet potato fries that accompanied it were nice though. The service was fine, but the location is another downside for me… it’s in an awkward location. If I lived in the area I’m sure I’d be back, but as I don’t, I’m not sure it’s worth the effort to go back.

AHHHHHHH… I always wondered what happened to Alf… you know, the cat eating, smart mouth alien from the late 80s? Turns out he was shot, stuffed and mounted on the wall in Sober Lane. Fine, I can live with his cold dead eyes staring down on me as I enjoy a truly excellent IPA on tap, some not at all bad chicken wings(the 8Euro large portion was smaller than hoped for), some very good potato wedges and topped off by a black-pudding and apple pizza. Now, don’t get me wrong, I reckon I could have eaten all that on my own in a manly fashion, but wifey insisted on eating half of it, something about being hungry. Service was fast and friendly, music not too loud, atmosphere spot-on. yup, deffo worth a shot.

1st time here today. 1st opinion is that its a nice pub. It was match day in the aviva so nice to com here for a change. Just 3 stars because they advertise a coin toss to win ur round on a Sunday. They would not do this even though it was a Sunday & I had a voucher to say I could get 1ANYTIME. We had a 5 euro pizza voucher which I felt I just about got upon persuasion of the waitress. Sober lane you could be so good but don’t advertise what you won’t deliver. 1 more point my friend got chewing gum stuck to his jeans from the seat. Not nice
