Taste of Emilia has got a new look and name(which actually escapes me now, I’ll edit it later when I find out!!) It’s il Fornaio or the Baker ;) I must have walked by this place a 100 and a 100 times have said, I must try that place out. Have an awful sift spot for genuine Italian and it doesn’t get much better than this. Aesthetics were so pleasing, rustic and warm. Service was excellent. The cannoli wasn’t the very best cannoli I’ve had but was up there. And the coffee was the proper stuff. Strong and smooth! Won’t be another 100 times before I return.

The Italians Italian It pretty much cannot be said better than this, everybody who was there(except me and my girlfriend) were speaking Italian. The atmosphere is cosy. The wine is spectacular. The service is friendly, welcoming and prompt. The food is no frills, but it doesn’t need to be when the quality is this good. Everything is so fresh, the quality is amazing. I’ve not been to Italy, but after going here I feel like I just might have been

Such an #authentic #Italian bistro in Dublin! They have a simple bistro menu with wonderful tasting ingredients. Everything is prepared freshly, everything has high quality, everything is picked and combined by the owner who just has a passion for great food and wine. The service is really friendly and welcoming. You can go here and get completely filled with amazing food & wine and would probably end up paying two third of what you would pay in a restaurant around the corner.

Simple, delicious and very Italian. I had just been to the movies with a friend and was just looking for a quick bite to eat and boy am I happy we chose this place. I had some sort of pizza with Italian ham, salad and loads of olive oil and it was delicious. Oh and they have plates of cheese and other delicious things so coming back for wine and a platter of mixed deliciousness!

Everyone take a moment and stop in this place!!! This is a 100% R E A L I T A L I A N restaurant! Trust your favorite italian foodie in Dublin aka me: P Absolutely perfect place to have a tipical italian APERITIVO, basically a drink and a little bit of food before dinner. Do come here and taste the piadina, typical sandwich from the italian region Emilia Romagna(google it!), but don’t forget to take a tagliere(cured meat plus other amazing italian food). Recommended if you are 2, make a reservation if you are a group because the place is small(whyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! If the owner is reading this, PLEASE buy a bigger restaurant!!!). Drink a spritz aperol for the aperitivo or an amazing bellini with your piadina!
