The Flaming Stone

We ate breakfast here before an early morning flight. I found the breakfast options to be quite limited as I’m intolerant to dairy so everything on the menu was either including dairy or the alternative was a fry. It was reasonably priced but to be honest aside from the sausage, pudding & egg everything else was quite average. The bacon was very fatty & salty, the potatoe farls were so hard I couldn’t chew them. Would I go back… Meh, maybe. My other half did seem to enjoy though.

Over priced airport food, quelle surprise.
Wait to be seated? The server pointed at the table and said to order at the bar.
I ordered a salad that I could have made at home and made better.
I will avoid this place in future.

Cracking pub food here. Staff are lovely and will actually bend over backwards for you. Only thing I will say is they shut about 8pm so if you’re on a later flight you’ll need to get in early.
It’s a little bit hidden, be sure to look at the signs as soon as you come out of passport control.
