Stopped into the natural bakery on Paddy’s day to pick up some pastry. To be honest I was surprised it was opened on Paddy’s day. Tasted a few pastries and bread and treated myself to a croissant. Only two staff on this day, they were friendly — no complaints!

Cool bakery in the IFSC area. During the week is crowded with people from the nearest offices but on Saturday and Sunday it’s a real paradise. Bread is good and the variety of pastries makes up for the price. A great spot for a breakfast or a break and you can take away everything, sweet or savoury.

It’s always good to see new business open up in IFSC. And it’s a nice change from the normal.(Let’s open a lunch place and make some cash during the week, then shut up shop on weekends.) I bought two different homemade loafs here this week. Both were incredibly tasty and filling. The Guinness bread is a triumph :) They know how to bake! The bread is a little pricey. But, you get your money’s worth and you’ll be back for more. A nice spot and hopefully they can remain there for years to come. Businesses to tend to come and go quickly in the IFSC.

I’m happy for this chain to have opened up a branch in Mayor Sq., especially as it stays open until late everyday, even on weekends. I really liked the variety of pastries and breads, and some of the offers were good value — drink and cake combos, 10 cupcakes for x€, that sort of thing. Most things look and taste good. That being said, I still find the bread to be really overpriced, and you can get similar loaves for less on either Fresh or M&S across the street. I was a bit disappointed with the(lack of) freshness on one occasion, that was a Sunday afternoon which leads me to think that they probably don’t put out fresh batches for the weekend. Coffee is average but drinkable. The worst is the seating inside — the seats are too short for the nice wooden high tables they got. Hopefully they’ll fix this, as it stands it’s really awkward and it’s probably putting people off from eating there.
