This is a very small café that squeezes a lot in. Again I can only comment on coffee and cake but good menu. The staff are attentive and friendly. On a summer day, take the table outside and watch the Village walk by. Memory tells me there’s a nice mince pie at Xmas. My only problem is the chairs, they’re awful and not for a café.

A little out of the way place in Rathfarnham old town. Very quiet, friendly service. Breakfast under 10 € included coffee or tea. Breakfast was good & fresh. Husband ordered an apple juice & the brought him a juice box. What is he 5? Really?

This lovely little place in the village can be really hit or miss. Sometimes it can be really busy and has a great chatty atmosphere and the staff are on form and then sometimes it can be really quite and dull and the staff look like they want to be somewhere else! The food is very basic and doesn’t really cater for any gluten free or special diet requirements but the food they do have is tasty and fresh and does the trick. I enjoy the cappuccino, in fact all their coffees are good, with a fresh made scone, which could do with being a little bigger and the fried breakfast is a good size, offers just the right portions of each item and isn’t swimming in grease! Over all a nice place to visit for a non pub venue lunch or quick coffee and treat if in the area, but if you look a little further afield there are better options.
