Hole In The Wall

Here’s the thing, it’s been two years since I’ve been to this place and the only reason I found out the name was because my bar tender at the pub here in Miami recognized it by my description.
I was studying abroad in Dublin and spent a weekend in Galway. After a few hours of pretty solid drinking, a buddy in myself were stumbling around trying to find McSwiggan’s when we asked a few local college students for directions. They advised us to follow them to a «better bar.»
We walked into this place to find a joint crowded with college students having a f-​ing blast. It was so much fun, and ourselves being college students, joined the party. Everyone was nice and buying us rounds of drinks. Craziest night I had in Galway. Sure it’s not a quiet little pub, but when you’re 21 years old and studying abroad this is exactly what you’re looking for. Heading back to Galway in a couple weeks and will definitely be back here.

It may not be fair to the Hole in the Wall to write this review. I only been in there once and didn’t bother to go back. That night it was filled with college students and loud music. From the outside appearance one wouldn’t expect the space like a few rooms where young people sat or were dancing. There was also patio seating outside.
Despite the crowd, good drink deals were to be found. An example is I brought a bottle neck of Corona for 3 euros.
What interested me the most was the photos of horses on the wall. If your a horse enthusiast, this place would be worth checking out in the daytime away from drunken immature college kids.
