I ma not a huge fan of this place. The food is ok, but I have had better, the staff is super nice, and the beer is good. However, I prefer smaller more intimate pubs.

Would only go here if I was forced into it. The pub has no character, is located next to a Eurostar off a roundabout and attracts fairly rough clientele. Watch your handbags and keep your head down in this place. The staff are ok but mainly match the clientele in it. Food is alright.

The Graduate is one of those urban«local» pubs. It’s big, it’s generally busy. In general, everyone knows everyone. The staff, you feel, are eternal and never get a day off. Divided into 3 sections, the lounge, the cocktail lounge and the bar, the bar caters for the sports fans with tv’s all round. There are mainly high wooden table or the bar to sit on and there is a restaurant section. The cocktail bar is smaller but much more comfy if your looking for a quiet pint. The lounge section is quieter but again slightly more comfortable. There is an upstairs function room. Drinks are a good price and the staff are great. The food is unspectacular and expensive and the food service isn’t great. On a match day it’s hard to get a seat. What makes the place is the great bar staff and, for me, the cocktail lounge is more up my street. If you never visited the Graduate you wouldn’t miss anything but nice and inexpensive as a local goes.
