As far as I know this is also called Brady’s. My visit here was on a Sunday night after a big Mayo GAA crowd had passed through leaving some stragglers behind. These stragglers seemed out of place in a pub otherwise occupied by a mostly middle aged crowd. My brother, a friend and my girlfriend were by far the youngest group here but adid not feel out of place. There was plenty of seating to chose from and in plenty variations, booths, bar seating, tall tables and short tables. We chose a tall table in front of the bar with a good view of the golf ;) The Barman was professional and bordering of surly but not in a «your not from around here» kind of way so it was probably just his demeanour. For our last few rounds he did come to the table to take our order and he brought it to our table which I thought was a nice touch when tipping isn’t an issue! It’s worth mentioning actually that the atmosphere was surprisingly lively and at no point did we feel like we were out of place, which can happen when a group of strangers arrive into a bar occupied by mostly regulars! The bathroom for the gents is down a set of stairs which could be a tricky trip after a few, I know I nearly went head first down on my first trip! Aside from the geo location the bathroom was clean and standard so thumbs up from me! Overall this place is a great bar for a quite few on a Sunday night, and I’ll be back for another few pints. Which reminds me, the pint is very good also!
