John Daly’s

When I heard that Daly’s in Mullingar had Galway Hooker Pale Ale and then more recently had Trouble Brewing Ór, and that Ór was an introductory price of € 2.50 (now over), I just had to go and see for myself. Carrig lager was also available last time I was in.
Regular pint price is about € 3.20 or so.
It’s also managed by Dec and Doran of The Blizzards and in that spirit, is a music venue.
When I was there the first time they also had a 4^th pint free thing going, so I only paid for 3. The second time I did not have so many so I can’t say if it’s a regular thing or not.
They also had a promotion of bottled craft beers 3 for € 10 which makes them cost about the same as an off licence. That’s the in pub price though and it’s a bargain.
There is a rather generous beer garden out back as well.
I have not been on a busy night so I can’t attest to the atmosphere but from what I have heard it’s a great place, especially for live music.
