Had the soup of the day leeches and potatoes. And as main grilled medallions of Irish fillet beef. The soup was creamy and very taste topped with some whipped cream. Presentation needs a bit work big plate seemed a bit empty. The main I ordered medium well unfortunately came well done but the meat was smooth and melted in the mouth. A bit too much salt for my taste. Pepper sause excellent. And side of fries were seasoned with thyme what was new but super tasty. Highly recommend Bouchon in Naas

Had heard good things about Bouchon from friends so decided to check it out. The restaurant is located in the centre of town above Kavanaghs pub which is a great place for pre or post dinner drinks. The menu in Bouchon is impressive, with items like crab, monkfish and lamb and the pricing is too. € 21 for 2 x courses before 6.45pm and € 26 after. Hoping the food lived up to the menu descriptions it definitely did. Everything we had was delicious, the bread, the starters of smoked salmon and monkfish, the mains and the steak which was cooked to perfection. The real surprise for me though was my main of Polenta with roast veg. It was one of the nicest vegetarian dishes I have ever had. Even my boyfriend who doesn’t do vegetarian loved it. We were too full to eat dessert but it’s on the list for next time. Bouchon is now my favourite place in Naas to eat and I’m already planning another visit.
