great pub, Bar staff are extremely good but it does take time to know them.
The place is always clean and nice local pub. there is space for smokers outside !

This is such an underrated pub among the Ranelagh scene, I can’t believe it took me so long to pop in!
It’s easy to miss and get sucked in by the bright hipster lights of the other sardine-​packed drinking holes around, but don’t be fooled by shaggy exterior, Humphrey’s is actually one of the better pubs on the strip.
With its nice staff, nice seating and nicely drinks prices, this is the perfect place for a few chilled shcoops with the buds.

See, this is exactly the way a pub should be! Humphrey’s has that village pub feel, the relaxed atmosphere and the staff now how to draw a good pint. It’s a great place to meet up with your friends for a few pints and a chat and watch the world go by. There is enough room for groups and no loud music. They do have TV screens for the matches and last time I walked past they had a Leinster flag hanging outside. The only downside– for me personally– is that it is all the way over in Ranelagh so it takes me ages to get home, but it’s well worth it!

Humphrey’s is the right place for evening drinks. If you want to meet your friends and have an evening enjoying their company and enjoying the pints, then Humphrey’s is for you. The best seats in the house are in the window where you can watch the bustle of Ranelagh village. Otherwise most other places are a good seat too. There are TV screens for matches and sporting events and a really nice outdoor seating area for summer evenings. They have heaters too, for the not so summer evenings.
