Huge selection of wines here. But I was not here for wine. Skipping passed most of the stock, I find the beer corner. It looks small, compared to the rest of the store, but when I looked closer it’s really well stocked with a good range of beer. I scan and scan. Then I see it, what had in my head coming in here: Goose Island. Hurrah. That said, there were at least two other back up IPAs that I had spotted already that would have done just fine. Paid by card, the nice lady who served me was very pleasant. When back in the area, I’ll definitely be calling in again.

They sell beer. They live 2 mins from me. Say. No. More.

You got your steaks from Lawlor’s and cheese and cake from Fothergills(located on the same street). The only thing lacking to make the dinner-party perfect is good wine. One to go with the cheese, a bottle of red to accompany the steaks and a sweet dessert drink to enjoy with the cake. Thankfully, O’Briens(next door to the butcher) has bottles from all corners of the world to go with every dish. Bön appetit!
