Generally I love going into Dealz and my review is regarding this particular shop and my experience dealing with the ‘managers’ there. Well it was a bit of a disaster getting selection boxes from Dealz Santry. I went into the shop and asked to speak to a manager as myself and my friend were with a charity for special needs children and wanted to know if there was anything they could do for us. I spoke with Carol who said she would speak to the GM and come to me. I said thanks and that I would be waiting by the shelves where the selection boxes were. So patiently we waited but after standing around for an hour I went to look for Carol only to be told she was gone on her break and had been unable to find us! They eventually told us they couldn’t help us with any kind of a discount as they have their own charity. Why they didn’t tell us just after we had walked in, it could have saved us both time and needless stress. The second manager/supervisor I spoke with couldn’t get in touch with Carol and was unable to even tell us which of the selection box deals were buy one, get one free. So frustrated we decided to just pay up and go only to find out after spending 75 € that we now had a € 3 voucher to spend if we spent € 18 the next time there! But we’ve just spent € 75 I said to her, why didn’t she tell us this beforehand and we could have saved up to € 12. I did ring the head-office and spoke to a squeaky voiced lady who said she would send us out a € 10 voucher for our next visit. While this is a nice thing to do, Dealz seems to win in this race as they got us to spend so much of our money. If the second manager had known what selection boxes we could buy to get another half price we could have saved up to to € 20. To be a manager/supervisor you should know this kind of information.

Amazing shop! Wanted to buy Storage Footstools from Argos for € 35(with a discount) and walked into Dealz. Found pretty much the same storage footstools for only € 10! Unbelievable. Most of the stuff in here are priced at € 1.49.
