We get our Chinese from here often, fast delivery, lovely delivery driver and fabulous food. Never end up with free prawn crackers though like the menu says we should but I won’t hold that against them! Their beef and black bean is to die for!

Quality tasty Chinese take away staples, done well. With some very pleasant and efficient staff to boot. One of the best Chinese take aways in Dublin.

REALLY Great quality ingredients, but my order was messed up. The Singapore Noodles had rice, not noodles ???(I ordered the Singapore NOODLES) I’ve had Chinese food all over North America, and in Beijjing. Wong’s Szechuan Beef seemed more like spicy Kung Pao beef. It was really nice, but didn’t seem like any Szechuan beef I’ve ever had. I will go again and rereview. The meat was REALLYGOOD! Only losing one star for the order error as the food was that good.(update sept 2011): I went back and it was even better), I can’t in good conscience not give it 5 stars. Oh Unilocal…, this is Blackrock, or Booterstown, and not Stillorgan. Blackrock is not a part of Stillorgan(unless you get your map data from the same crowd google use). — — — — — — — — — — – 2014 Update: Unilocal, get a grip — 3 years on this is NOTSTILLORGAN, can’t you find a better dataset provider. A lot of the irish gecoded addresses have significant issues.

My lovely fiancée has already written about Wongs as our default Chinese take away, but since I am the one always pushing for Chinese food I figured I would weigh in. The food here is of good quality — it is not the best take away Chinese food I have ever had, but it is good enough to keep me going back. Their portions are generous, the meat actually tastes like meat(yes I have had this issue) and the quality of the staple dishes is very good(Kung Po. Curry, Satay etc.) Some highlights: Their fried noodles are closer to the vermicelli style than the Lo Mein style(which I prefer) and are well cooked and very tasty — worth trying on their own before using as a side dish. The Singapore fried rice(and equivalent noodles) are nicely spicey without going overboard — if this is your type of dish you will not be disappointed. The Chicken balls are very good — fluffy batter, not too oily and far too tempting to eat just-one-more. Delivery — super fast! While I lived in the US I had a craving for«proper» Chinese take out(east coast Chinese food was, in my experience, very poor) — Wongs satisfies that craving, perhaps a little too well :)

This is our default Chinese takeaway. After experimenting with a few others we settled on this one for a couple of reasons: — good solid chinese food with good ingredients(the chicken is actual chicken and not that weirdly textured stuff you can get in some chineses) — super fast delivery!

This is my local Chinese and I order it maybe once a month… ok maybe more!!! It’s great for when you’re hungover or just too wrecked to cook, they’re just down the road form me and they deliver it really quick! One time I rang them, left to go to the pass machine and it was at my apartment by the time I got back! I’ve always found the food really good — I usually go for a chow mein or maybe chicken friend rice, but the last time I ordered it, the food wasn’t great. But, it’s been good more times than it’s been bad, so I’m going to let them have an off day! What I like most about it is that there’s no minimum order with them — if I’m ordering on my own(boo hoo me) it usually comes to less than a tenner, and some places are fussy about the minimum amount of food you can order.
