O.M.G. Like holy smokes, where do I even start? I’ve been vacation in Italy for the last 2 weeks or so, and I’ve literally almost had gelato from southern Italy and now up north daily! Yeah, I know, don’t judge me! One of our distant relative and her husband lives here in Milan, and me and my mom planned on getting together this afternoon. We met up at duomo and she took us here! She said this was the second location, as the one behind duomo was super packed!(It’s Saturday and the sun is up in Milan) So as we waited for a table, I spotted this one chick, eating this one huge bucket of ice cream, all by herself! Suddenly like a light bulb, I was like, «that’s what I’m getting, don’t judge me!!!» Lawd, this is by far, the best gelato I’ve had in my entire existence, since I was introduced to this heavenly sort of concoction!(It’s a blessing and a curse, something my belly hates me for! But hey I’m on vacation, so suck it!). They make everything from scratch from what o was able to see. I love chocolate, like I could marry it, so I know this stuff is the real thing! It has that soft, creamy, milk chocolate that a gelato should have! It’s like a dessert party on your mouth! Service was pleasant, took a whole to get out order, but again they were pretty swamped. I already told my cousin, I want to come back to try out their coffee!(Besides gelato, I’m addicted to Italian coffee as well) So if ever you are in Milan and is wanting to try the best of the best, check this place out and they sure won’t disappoint. Try to go on a weekday, so it won’t be as crowded

I had a sort of frozen coffee which was awesome(there were three layers of milk, coffee and chocolate in a glass, all blended with ice) and there are SO many different things to choose from !! It was also rather cheap(3 €). I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to chill a bit while visiting!

If only gelato in New York tasted this good. How can you go to Italy and not eat gelato? Cioccolati Italiani had a constant line out the door, so we figured it must be a winner. Ordering can be a bit confusing(pay first, then give your receipt to the guy behind the counter), but it’s so worth it. If you a get a cone, first choose milk, dark, or white chocolate, and they fill your cone with a constantly flowing fountain of molten chocolate.(A cup gives a cookie dipped in the chocolate of your choice on top). The crema bologna(egg yolk) gelato was intriguing and after a quick sample, I was sold. Similar tasting to a Chinese egg tart(dan ta), I paired it with the espresso for a smooth and bitter combination. The espresso actually was my favorite. Not only was the flavor spot on and strong, it had bits of chocolate throughout that made it fun to eat. The chocolate sauce on the inside hardens towards the top but will still be molten when you get to the bottom tip, so be careful when you’re eating it towards the end!

Very special place offering truly delicious and diverse specialties made of any kind of chocolate. Make sure not to order too much as everything is really heavy. Just one crêpe or one chocolate drink usually is enough. Make also sure to order a glass of water, — it will enrich your chocolate experience.
