To celebrate my friend’s birthday and my second to the last night in Milan I wanted to eat in a fancy place. This place got my attention because of its concept of blending art, restaurant, and fashion(at least this is what they claim). They got the good food and the art on point. Not sure where the fashion fit in unless they assumed the people eating in the restaurant were meant to bring in the fashion. I was greeted by friendly staff when I arrived and they had my reservation in which they quickly brought me to my table. The place is trendy as expected but it was cool to see some of the art they displayed in the restaurant. I wish they had more art but I guess they are going for the minimalist look. The tables were perfectly dressed and the chairs were big and comfy. It’s not an overly big restaurant so I can see why you should get reservation especially as it gets known around town. The menu is pretty packed with interesting dishes. Luckily they had an English version… Yay! For the first dish I ordered this egg dish in a tomato sitting on pesto with mascarpone cheese. This was pure luxury and very rich in flavour. The delicate flavour of the egg and tomato went well with the saltiness of the pesto, mascarpone cheese and the crunchy salty thing sprinkled on the mascarpone. It’s an amazing dish but they gave me way too much and I seriously couldn’t eat it all. The egg was cooked half boiled so when you puncture it, the yolk oozed out! It’s a feast for the eyes and an orgasm in the mouth! Before I actually ate this dish the chef sent a small bowl of soup made from mashed up kidney beans and whole beans with a sprinkle of crackers. This was really good, the dish was perfectly salted especially since kidney beans really don’t have taste but the mashed up beans made a thick consistently but they whole beans brought a perfect bite. It’s a great dish that showcase the different type is texture the bean can have. The second course I ordered a pan fried veal dish. The dish had a nice light sauce but it didn’t need anything since it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. The sauce just made it extra luxurious. The veal was moist and didn’t have a gamey taste. It was actually like eating a big pork chop. The small spoonful of mash potatoes weren’t that great. The serving was huge and honestly two people can share this! For dessert I ordered a chocolate mouse. This dolci was pure luxury in the mouth. Rich, decadent, smooth, and intense in its chocolate flavour… This was absolutely one amazing dessert! The mouse has an intense chocolate flavour and even if you only need 3 – 4 bites to get your fill… I couldn’t stop eating it! It’s wasn’t overly sweet and it didn’t have any bitterness from the chocolate. The caramel inside wasn’t overly strong and didn’t overs shadow the intense chocolate taste. The only thing that would make this dish any better is if there was more crunch… It has a sprinkle of crunchy bits, but my preference would be more… This was an absolute stunning dessert that can’t be missed! Lastly the chef sent out three small bites of sweets… A mini French macaroon, fruit gelatin, and chocolate truffles. Each of the mini bites had a punch in flavour especially the truffle! As if I didn’t get enough chocolate, this has a one two chocolate punch! It was less sweet and had a slight bitterness after taste, but that’s makes it a great truffle! Awesome ending to a delicious meal! The staff was attentive and were willing to give suggestions. If we weren’t happy with a dish, they were willing to bring it back and exchange for another… Absolutely awesome! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant cause it exceeded my expectations. I’d definitely come eat here again even if it’s pricey, but hey… You pay for quality food in an awesome atmosphere. A true gem in the heart of Milan!

This was such a lucky find! Referred to us by the furniture guy on the same street! He was right, this place was very Milan but light and modern and fresh. It’s a gallery, shop, ice cream place, chocolatier and restaurant. Make a reservation. This place is special! It’s all the bells and whistles of a michelin star spot~ I don’t even know if they have one or two. They had a great wine menu and a lot of Spumanti~ I learned something about the difference of Prosecco & Spumanti! Thank you L’arte! We had our kids, who just wanted spaghetti Bolognese which they made beautiful. My husband and I had starters plus a main. But they brought us an amuse bouche of a meatball in lemon mashed potatoes with tiny broccoli-oi vey! So Beautiful! SOGOOD. _ate it twice, once with my eyes! My 3 Fish tartare was AMAZING. You know when you eat combinations of details they add and you never imagined how great they could be? The beautiful interior was clean fresh airy and spacious. The space was designed in great detail. You kind of don’t want to leave & we could watch the people int he kitchen from where we sat. We didn’t order dessert but a couple of dessert plates came with 3 different treats. a CLOSE the BOUCHE treat? ;D Then, they rolled over a chopping block with 2GIANT slabs of chocolate, one was 50% cacao and the other 70% Cacao… I don’t even like chocolate but it was sooo good. Then our girls got a little Late Valentines bag of chocolates to go! This IS the Best Meal I’ve had in Milan! Oh and our waiter… He spoke GREAT English and was SOOOO Charming!
