What a lucky find!
This is a luxurious (¥ 2,800) buffet, and worth every penny of it and more.
Our original plan was brunch at the Palace Hotel, but without reservations, we were out of luck. We retired to the fountain park, the restaurant hadn’t opened yet and we were poring over our phones looking for a place. Then, we noticed that the doors had opened, we peeked inside, and it was fan-tastic!
The spread was extensive, beautifully and elegantly presented, and the tables have a great view of the spectacular fountain park. A great warmup before heading over to the Imperial Palace!
Also: they are very tourist (and kid) friendly, so even if you’re dressed super casual, don’t let the elegance of this place keep you away. Kids are half-price, by the way.
