We had the Alberta beef steak and the salmon. Each dish was among the best we’ve ever had, anywhere. The view from our table was wonderful, with the snow-packed peaks enhancing our experience. Service was attentive and warm. Many reviewers comment on the prices but with the CAD-US exchange rate being what it is, we paid appreciably less for the meal than we would have paid in the states for a similar restaurant experience.

Amazing service, amazing food. Pricy but so worth it! We had the scallops, steak, bison. I personally did not like the popcorn with the bison but it was cooked well. The steak was like butter and we did not find any other less expensive restaurant who cooked it better. I would definitely come back here.

Great dinner. All together great experience. Went on a Thursday and the place was empty. Had first reservation which left the whole place to us. Outstanding food. Pricey but expected as a nice Resturant. View alone should take you here. Waitress told us all about what we had and any questions. Had the duck, Best I’ve had. All around great experience

It was our first time to the Banff area. Staying at the Fairmount you get a fair selection, but the view from Three Ravens is second to none. Especially just before sundown. Additionally the food was spectacular. Good sized portions, our waitress, Maddy, real new the menu and made excellent recommendations from the pastrami starters to the bison main. This was a great experience.

Three Ravens is an upscale restaurant but not at all fussy nor too formal. The view is gorgeous. The menu is diverse enough to please most folks, but as others have noted, you pay a premium. There were four in our party and each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers, entrees. The dessert menu wasn’t tempting enough for us to indulge. The service was excellent. We had a young, college-age server who was friendly, attentive, and professional.

Wish I could do half stars — this place would get a 4.5. The food was beautifully prepared and delicious. The view was amazing. The service was spot on. The only reasoner doesn’t get a full five stars is because of the restaurant in a restaurant set-up. Three Ravens is a sectioned off dining space within a larger room that contains a buffet-style restaurant and separate bar. One feels a bit silly staring at a buffet through a glass wall while pretending to be in a fine dining restaurant. I couldn’t help but feel like I was being taken when I could have paid less and served myself. That aside — everything contained within the glass walls was fantastic! I highly recommend the meal –just want you to know what you’re walking into.

Went here on a tour for our last dinner. Not only was the staff not attentive but they served cheap pieces of what should have been tenderloin but was clearly not. The manager lied straight to my face and told me it was all the same but my brother in laws piece looked very different then mine. Kyle is the only reason they are getting one star. He was very nice. Very disappointing meal. Not good at all. Cheap food for high pricing.

A little hard to find but… Best food I’ve ever had… Anywhere. Service is impeccable. Every item on your dish is explained. Presentation was top notch. The view is also very nice. Whatever the price is, it’s worth it. Extremely memorable meal.

Definitely 5 stars… Everything was perfect here… From the amuse bouche, to the desserts… Including an excellent service and a beautiful place with a gorgeous view… I have to say, that even the bread was delicious, they offered 4 different kinds of butters, that were really good, then I had the appetizer with sturgeon that was delicious, my main dish was the duck. It was amazing… My friends ordered the beef and the veal, and they said both dishes were great… The desserts were very good too… In addition, the wine was excellent, they have a very nice selection of good wines… Definitely one of the best restaurants in Banff… Absolutely nothing to complain!..

AMAZING!!! The food and service was impeccable! We had bison steak and my wife and I are still talking about it the next day! I can’t say what was great, specifically because everything we had was amazing. From the corn chowder soup, bison, to desert. And our waitress, we can’t remember her name but think it’s Miranda, was great. We highly highly recommend this place!

Outstanding food — but you pay every penny for it. Wine well matched, views are unbeat.

An amazing restaurant with amazing views! There isn’t much to add to what other folks have already said about this lovely restaurant. I love that the menu is seasonal and that they offer more game choices to cater to the tourist crowd. Not only do they offer them, they nail them and will have you seeking out more bison or elk the next time you are out for dinner. The only slight drawback — emphasis on minor — is that it’s not an incredibly intimate restaurant, it doesn’t have that cozy ambiance, but with the stunning views it really doesn’t matter much anyways. Just go.

Only the second restaurant I’ve ever been to that deserves a perfect rating. The service is always first class and being in Banff everyone has a sexy accent which makes it even classier. Right? The wine list is extensive, adventurous, and well priced. You can get a $ 9 class that pairs perfectly with a $ 40 Elk loin, or a relatively underpriced Osoyoos Larose for $ 90 and go on flavorful journey. My ultimate test for a bar is ordering a French 75. 19⁄20 places have no idea what it is and the last one always messes it up but Three Ravens nailed it. All of our food was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Service was timely, friendly, and professional. This is a restaurant worth its own road trip across the province to visit!

Found this place based on reviews so I will have to pay it forward and review it too! We had an amazing meal here… we came here after a hugely disappointing meal the day before and Three Ravens did not disappoint. Our appetizers were the pork belly and elk tartare… very very good. For our main dish we had the bison and the trout, scrumptious!!! The tapas dessert was the perfect end. Wine pairings were excellent, service was excellent, and we left full, happy and very pleased. Go!

By far the best meal of our entire trip. The kindest and most attentive service combined with hands down great food. there are options for everyone from vegetarian, fish, duck, chicken, bison, beef, lamb… Our party of 4 was blown away by the amazing flavor and combinations. What a fantastic meal to celebrate our final day in Banff. Worth every penny. If you are celebrating a special occasion or consider yourself a foodie you cannot miss this restaurant. Three Raven’s is a hidden gem. Our Meal Began with fresh ciabatta bread and a sampling of 4 butters all prepared in the kitchen. Regular salted, Sun Dried Tomato, Mango with a Vietnamese spice, and(my personal favorite) walnut maple butter. Yum. Starters Melon Berry Salad was beautifully prepared and filled with fresh flavors of watermelon, honeydoo, can’t elope, cheese, and prosciutto. The greens are grown in-house. What an incredible salad. Their Caesar is a fresh twist on a classic. Not a true Caesar but a fantastic salad. I think it deserves it’s own name like Brutus or Et Tu Brute. Entrees Olive Crusted Seared Ahi was prepared perfectly. I have never had ahi with an olive crust. It was delicious and the ahi melted in your mouth. AAA Beef Tenderloin cooked medium rare. Fantastically prepared, the meat is such great quality that the minimalist if seasoning allows the meat to show off. Maple Glazed Chicken was succulent. Crispy skin with a hint of maple on the outside and tender juicy white meat on the inside. Dessert is served as a tasting of 2 or 3. Our table got one of each and every desert was better than the last. I cannot compliment the staff enough. Our server had a fantastic sense of humor and truly seemed to enjoy all the time he spent telling us about the menu. The manager stopped in after our first bites, which wereexquisit, to ensure we liked our meal and truly wanted to know what we thought of the seasonings; which were devine. A gastronomical delight. Fresh, local, and environmentally conscious.

If they brought me a peanut butter sandwich on stale bread, with this view, I’d still give them five stars. Banff, you’re a pretty bee. Luckily for me, and hopefully you, the food is excellent. I started with a martini, moved onto a Syrah. I had the scallops followed by the mushroom dish. My #banffbesties had the bison and duck, and though I feel I won the ordering war, theirs were pretty darn good, too. The views. There are no words for the views. The young Aussie with the megawatt smile that served us didn’t hurt, either.

Amazing views and food! Our waiter was awesome and super friendly! The wine and the food was so good! We had the steak and the duck and they were cooked to absolute perfection. The location is tucked into the mountains and your seat is surrounded by windows. I highly suggest going for sunset seating. The venue is an awesome art centre and some if the proceeds go to a good cause. It’s perfect for a romantic date or for dinner with a group of friends.

Five star restaurant with 5 star view. Most ingredients are locally grown or sourced. Pricey but worth every bites. We had the lamb chop CAD42& duck breast CAD39, both cooked to perfection & succulent. We have not have such high quality food for quite some time!
