Omg omg omg! Matthew at the bar hooked us up with the best table in the house with almost no notice! Totally made us feel like rock stars! Food was ridiculous and the beer was incredible. A must for anyone visiting Banff! Millionaire hamburger helper is insane.

Five stars for everything – food, drinks, ambiance and service. Burger was exceptional, cocktails among the best I’ve had and Marco was attentive, knowledgeable and charming.

This is a really cool spot to hang out in Banff. It’s got a solid Canadian lodge feel with a strong touch of craft cocktail hipster. Park Distillery is a great pick if you’re looking for and apres ski dinner spot, or just and apres ski bar to sit at and drink craft beer and cocktails. At Park Distillery there’s two bars — take your pick. I went with this epic whisky cocktail topped with a piece of smoked cedar. If you like big, deep cocktails, I suggest you do the same. The cedar plank infuses a healthy dose of wood smoke into the mix, making it all the richer. Much in the same way that grilling a salmon on a cedar plank does. The food is a mix of Canadian staples upscaled a bit. For my meal, I went with the half chicken in the«From The Firepit section. It was very clearly cooked using a wood fire and was filled with even more grand smoke flavour. Between the cocktail and the chicken I got to enjoy one tasty smoke pit. We went on Family Day long weekend, arguably one of the worst time to be in Banff because there are so many people. So with that in mind, while the room is spectacular, the food and service didn’t match the prices quite enough for me. I’d like to go back to Park Distillery and hopefully get a better table, and attention to detail from our servers. The food was tasty yes, but too expensive to stand on its own without some added service value.

Nice place. Comfortable. Great food and service. Prices are in line with prices in Banff. We had a very nice meal and feel we got good value for our money. I’m certain we will come back next time we are in Banff.

Great place for well made drinks and very tasty food. The waiter provided excellent service. We called ahead for a table and they put us on the list. If I were to book again we would ask for a table upstairs. The downstairs area where we were was very cold from people opening and closing the door. The hostesses were awesome and sent us a text when our table was ready. We both ordered the lamb chops and then shared a smoked s’more. I tried a bourbon cocktail with watermelon and thyme that was quite good. Overall, great experience. Oh the sides came on separate plates and they were both cold. The waiter replaced them, so the fries were hot, but the mashed potatoes were still just as cold :)

Very charming décor, if you’re into the über hipster lumberjack look. Service was kind of funny. The menu is mostly BBQ, but our server directed us to the most diet-y dishes on the menu(the slightly too al dente broccoli topped with parm and pine nuts, the nothing-to-write-home-about foil-cooked trout). Not sure if she thought we were too fat, or she just loves salad. Doesn’t she know you don’t make friends with salad?

A drinkers paradise. Lively and multilayered venue, full of the in crowd. Certain to remain popular in years to come. We dined for breakfast. It was good. Adventurous flavour parings throughout the menu. Service was very good.

Great food & service. Top rate take on a poutine ! Dirty Fries awesome. The Ceasar with their own Chilli Vodka was excellent ! Will be buying that one in future. Waitress was spot on with every suggestion she made for us. We even told some people we overheard wondering where to eat to go there. Hope they had as good an experience as we did !

3.5 stars — good restaurant on the strip. We decided to come for dinner after a day of skiing/boarding and started with cocktails. I had the G Gully with Park’s distilled rye, and it was delicious! My boyfriend and I shared the Fire Burnt Squash as a starter which had a nice char and taste as well as the Mess Hall Standard for our main. Service was very good, almost too much service as the waitress always came by to make sure we were doing okay. My recommendation to the restaurant would be to find some way to split the Mess Hall standard. It was so much food to come out at once that the beginning foods were hot and delicious but closer to the end, some were cold and probably would have been even better if hot. A lot of the single entrees looked great. Highly recommend the chicken and the BBQ ribs as those were the standouts for me from the platter. I also enjoyed the paintbrush to paint the sauce on the ribs.

Park is certainly a bit pricey, but then again you’re eating out in Banff, so what did you expect? The service was excellent. We ended up just getting everything out server recommended, and it was delicious. Pro tip: If you get the fondue and the prime rib, you can dip the rib in the fondue. It’s perfect for two people to share.

Park is one of the best local distilleries I’ve been to, which is interesting considering how young the operation is. The distillery tour was interesting, and really highlighted what Park does best– create high-quality center-cut liquors using only the best local grains and glacial water, occasionally spicing things up with infused flavors, rather than chemical flavoring. I really recommend the Fi Fi Mule for a traditional taste. Aside from the distillery, the restaurant is delicious! I had the mouth-watering rotisserie chicken sandwich, which I will try to go back again for. My girlfriend had the chicken corn chowder, apparently a restaurant staple, and said it was very tasty. Do yourself a favor, and go to Park.

We came for a late lunch. We got to sit on the top balcony overlooking the breathtaking view. The food was delicious and the staff were nice. Would come go back again.

Lobster roll is good but definitely can’t beat Boston lobster roll. You don’t get chunky lobster meat, all you get is some mashed lobster meat and the portion is way too little for the price that can be finished in 3 bites and it doesn’t come with sides. mesquite beef hoagie is okay no big deal, fries is good but they didn’t put grease paper that makes fries at bottom soggy. The only thing I find impressive the distillery column

I’ll keep it simple: This place is bad ass. It’s a very authentic place with great attention to detail in both the ambiance and the food. If I lived in Banff, I would reign as the Duke here.

When we hear that new distilleries are open we get very excited. Our first night in Banff we headed straight here anxious to try it. The place is very cool with big open space and great outdoors, Canadian décor. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Down side? None of the Park liquors are actually ready. We went solely to try what they are making and they said it would be another 3+ months. We got some cocktails which I found were too strong for my liking. All I could taste was the cheap booze. We ordered the flatbread pizza off the late night menu and it was delicious but greasy. We’ll hopefully be back when they have their own products on the shelf to try.

Nice restaurant in the middle of Banff — friendly bartenders, nice drink selection and great atmosphere. We enjoyed some drinks while it rained today, but would recommend coming back to try the food too.

Excellent service Excellent ambiance Phenomenal food! I have to give a well earned 5 star rating to Park. From my 3 days here in Banff and eating at 5 restaurants, this has to be my number 1. Lets star off with my husband’s prime rib. It was cooked to perfection– medium rare with a side of fresh vegetables and really really tasty mash potatoes. Although this was great, I picked a prize… one of the tastiest rotisserie chicken breast I’ve had in quite some time with a side of veggies and mash also. I was such a pleased costumer. Best meal in Banff, for sure.

The Park is a wonderful restaurant on the strip. I was escorted to the upstairs bar. This is the first time I was escorted to a barstool :). Park has a wonderful beer selection and my friendly bartender was able to assist me in selecting a brew. For dinner I ordered the smoked eggplant. It was accompanied with cheese and tomatoes and it was truly wonderful. The person next to me ordered the trout and he said it was cooked and seasoned perfectly. Park is a great venue for a few drinks(go upstairs and sit on the deck) or for a great meal.

Unless I read the reviews saying this place has been open less than 4 weeks, I’d never have known. That’s the biggest compliment I can give. The service was fantastic, the beer selection was varied and all Canadian, the food was proper gastropub food, and thanks to Mark D. suggesting the mesquite beef hoagie, I agree, I’d get it again next time it was so good. Not to be outdone were the fries and the accompanying sauce which was out of this world. There are a lot of eating options in Banff, but this one stuck out to me as «my kind of place» and I was not disappointed. I got some good suggestions from the bar tender, and though the food was a bit slow to come out, it was a high lunch rush so… it’s understandable. I really like the décor, the distillery equipment(which I was told would be fired up for the first time that night) and the openness both inside and out. Come here!
