Like most of Canada, I’m a huge Timmy’s fan. There’s no better place for value. This chain has done a great job at turning simplicity into a great thing. Meanwhile, this location, which is the only one in Banff, can be a bit frustrating to go to. We tried to come here twice on our trip to Banff and walked out both times. It’s one of the busiest Timmy’s we’ve seen(and have been to dozens, more than 75 Canada wide). Sadly, the location was understaffed. The line reached the front door and we only noticed two people working the registers. Hopefully, management sees the value of adding a few more employees to handle the crowds and get the line to move quicker, as this chain is known to do. The first time we arrived there were 20 people in front of us. After 10 minutes, and almost no movement, we opted to leave. Coming back that afternoon, we ran into the same situation. There’s a reason it’s always busy. It’s the best priced place in town and nothing doesn’t taste great. Keep in mind, this is Downtown Banff and everyone wants Timmy’s. They could do two things: open a second location or simply put more people on staff to reduce long wait times. Either way, you can’t go wrong at Timmy’s. At this location, just be prepared to wait.

My sister’s husband said this was like Dunkin Donuts. These donuts are similar to Dunkin Donuts. That’s a bad thing because I take the donuts I put into my body very seriously… and I don’t really like Dunkin Donuts. Anyway I had a custard filled donut with chocolate frosting and some donut holes. It was edible, but not incredible. When you are in Canada, do as the Canadians do.

This Tim’s at Banff gets really busy in mornings(Like all other Tims). Friendly staff. Clean place. Great pricing. This Tim’s is not open 24 hours. Contrary to what the board outside says. Please use 1 spot for your car. Usually people use 2. And there aint too much parking. Well… There is more on the street. And ya. Don’t drive around. Coz there is no drive thru.

An instant hit of nostalgia! It’s been 10+ years since I’ve been in Canada and this was one of the things that I had to come here for. Sure it’s your average donut shop, but its special in my heart. Strongly recommend you just get donuts: raspberry filled and nutella ones are my favorites. The donut holes also great on the go if you want a variety of flavors. Coffee is cheap and service is fast too!

This Timmie’s is pretty average. They have free wifi which is nice. It’s clean at least, unlike some Tim Hortons I’ve been to.

Newish and clean. There is a Cold Stone restaurant at the same location, which is nice. Tried them both out and liked both.
