Lunch was okay and two out of three of the workers were friendly. The third, however, was not. Also, if you’re going to charge $ 2 for a small cup of regular everyday coffee(as in, not a specialty selection), can you please fill the cup? Especially after the customer tells you they take it black. An inch of space at the top is unacceptable.

Very nice place with a beautiful terrace. Good service, good menu and the cost is very acceptable. For a lunch before to go at beach, it’s the place!

This café just opened in Bloomfield. It’s airy and spacious, with a few cute patio tables. They serve coffee, tea, baked goods, lunch, and ice cream. I came for an early breakfast and it was peaceful and quiet. Their croissants are made in house are were buttery goodness. My DC had the breakfast sandwich. It was okay, but kind of small and expensive(I forget the exact price, around $ 9 – 10). My london fog was way too sweet! It’s my usual drink, so I’ve tried it at lots of places, but I’ve never had it with so much vanilla syrup… The lunch menu looks interesting, and I would come back to try it. It’s nice to see a café offering more than the usual paninis and salads. They have homemade soups and Japanese-style bento boxes with actual entrees like chicken or fish. The ice cream area is cute. I don’t know how they could possibly compete with Slickers across the street, but the seating area is definitely better. I could see families or groups wanting to sit down and eat their ice cream choosing to come here. The décor is cheerful with red accents and cool chairs made of bungee cords! The owner was friendly. This would be my go-to café in Bloomfield(along with Tall Poppy Café in Wellington and Miss Lily’s in Picton), I would just make sure to ask for less syrup in my london fog next time!
