A fine selection of organic food on Bowen Island. They also have a deli with plenty of options — the eggplant parm was delightful, and so was the espresso. The service was great and there is a nice patio where you can enjoy your meal with a friend. Definitely worth another visit or two.

Great place to pick up supplies for your Bowen Island Adventures: D We were mooring at snug cove for the weekend and were delighted to find this place, great coffee’s amazing macaron’s and plenty of supplies for healthy fresh meals. Enjoyed sitting on the patio in the sunshine snacking on fresh macarons and tea.

I think I’m following Marc D. It seems he has trailblazed through Bowen before I arrived, but he’s spot on with his review of this cute store that sells great organic and locally made products, health food, and some neat odds n ends.
We came to Bowen to make yummy meals on our cabin deck, so when I realized that I had, as per usual, forgotten half the things I needed, we stopped here, really not wanting to compromise our dinner ideals (we had fresh swordfish and local smoked pork, and some luscious figs). I quickly snapped up some Bowen made chorizo, Gelato, baby kale, and a few other needed additions for our post hike dinners.
I’ll definately be back, stay great my little ruddy potato.

* Excellent source for organic produce and products while on the island *
This little market is tucked away off the main road in Village Square and offers a wide variety of organic produce and products similar to what you would find at Choices or Whole Foods. I figured they would be price gouging due to the island nature and all. But was really pleasantly surprised to see prices that weren’t too much higher than what you would pay back in Vancouver. Very honest business!
In the fruit section they had fresh raspberries that were grown in the «Ruddy Garden» and were fabulous.
Great little spot for organic and local products!
