Don‘t bother going unless you want to support owners who don‘t care about there business. Made reservations and they joined 3 small round tables for our party of 6, awkward setting, and not to mention it was cramped, I sat at the end, couldn’t get out unless the other 2 people got up. When we got there, the owner was sitting at the bar with her friends, got up & looked at me, I told her we had reservations, she said oh, she‘s cleaning your table now and sat back down at the bar and talked to her friends. When we sat down, the server didn’t give us menus or ask if we needed any drinks. The food is ok, nothing to write about, can go elsewhere in the neighbourhood. I can go on but why bother, I JUSTWOULD‘NTRECOMMENDGOINGUNLESSYOUWANTTOHAVEBADSERVICEANDMEDIOCREFOOD.

The steak was devoid of any flavour and was tough for medium rare, I’m not claiming to be a steak connesouir but if Im paying 28 dollars I expect more than a shitty cut. Also they offered shoestring french fries instead of baked/mashed potato, i thought that was kinda novel and gave it a try but they were frozen mccain french fries(not a joke). All in all the only thing with any flavour was my broccoli which was actually pretty good. Wont go back.

I have been to Little Billy’s four times in the past. The first three were really good. The place is very busy and may have a couple too many tables but the food makes up for it. Unfortunately I cannot give the last the same rating. We arrived on time for a reservation for four people. The table we were seated at was so cramped that you could not seat two people on each side. One person was seated at the end and the rest of us were jammed in like sardines. Did I mention we had a reservation? When we asked if we could move to another table the answer was simply no. There was no, mph we are sorry how about we give you an appetizer while you wait for another table to open up– nothing. It was just like they didn’t care whether we were there or not. Sorry to say, even though it is in walking distance I doubt if we will go back.

We Came here with our friends and we Had reservations at 7: 30 pm. We sat at the bar for almost an hour and they told us they over booked than we finally got seated. The service was ABSOLUTELYTERRIBLE. Omg I can’t even explain how bad the service was. The server in the middle of serving us went outside and smoke a cigarette and came back and stunk like smoke. Than we were were ready to pay the bill the server took our credit card for 5 minutes and went to the back room. Than came back with the machine … Like why would u even take the card in the first place if u have a machine in ur hand… And she went in the back kitchen with the credit card as if she was taking that number down or swiping our card for different illegal reasons. secondly we saw a server chug a beer in the back of the bar. How disgusting . Also the way they made us feel when we walked in the door and throughout our visit was so unwelcoming.

I’ve been to Little Billy’s several times in the past and had a fine experience. This particular time was my partner’s first time to Little Billy’s. We sat at the bar and John took care of us, he was lovely. Also a young man, dark haired, polite that had us seated. He was lovely as well. Who was not lovely? The owner’s wife. She was berating and demeaning staff right in front of us, instead of attempting to make it a private conversation and most importantly speaking to her staff with respect. This is not okay! She was mentioning that she paid them to do certain tasks etc. I just felt it was embarrassing for staff and again highly inappropriate. Message for the owner’s wife — don’t destroy the morale of your staff, they won’t stick around long. If you need to communicate with staff do it away from customers and speak to them like human beings. Thank you John for making our night a great one!

Interesting… Wasn’t until i sat down when i noticed this was actually more of a greek place. I had roast lamb and it was super tender and moist which was great. Less impressed with the two pieces of broccoli that came with it which had a bland sauce poured over it that was pretty salty and had curds in it(but didnt taste like cheese???) My dinner partner had the steak which he deemed«just okay». It looked super thin and not the kind of thick and juicy steak you’d hope for from a place like this. Not going back.

Even though there are quite a few restaurants in this area, this area normally doesn’t get too much attention. Parking is available behind the building(a few spots), as well as along Hastings after 1800, and the side streets. The place feels quite cozy and quaint — the place has been around for decades after all. It has a nice 1980s feel. Staff are friendly, and checked on my group frequently. Having no idea what to order, my friends and I had the Greek Platter($ 95). It’s a pretty good sampler for most of their non-seafood dishes. This is best for 4 people, as many of the skewers had 4 chunks of meat. Ribs, prawns(2 types), lamb, lamb chops, spinach pie, chicken, calamari. Everything was fresh and crispy. My only complaint was that the potato was too raw to be eaten, but I guess they had to do this since the potato is used as a stand for the skewers. This dish also comes with a big plate of rice and potatoes, as well as 3 types of salad. Definitely worth the money. Just keep in mind that there’s quite a bit of lamb in here, so this plate of awesomeness is not for those who don’t like gamey stuff.

Sadly I wanted to love this place but a steak house with shitty steaks? Nope!!! Lovely service but even though we expressed that the steak was shit, no kind of acknowledgement from management. Salad was swimming in dressing. Baked potato was the best thing served. Oh well. We won’t be back.

The food was great! We ordered the Greek Platter which had succulent morsels of beef, pork, chicken and shrimp with pork ribs and and a couple of lamb ribs, rice, potatoes, prawns, veggies. It was delicious. I recommend the food at 4 and the service at 3.

Absolutely wonderful. Came for dinner with family to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Various dinners were had(rack of lamb, lamb ribs, steak and lobster, seafood pasta). All delicious! Only one steak was medium, when it was ordered medium rare. No big deal. The homemade butter dip for the lobster tails was tangy and divine(I was able to buy a pound for $ 10 to take home for cooking with). The champagne cheesecake is a must(also GF). Highly recommend.

My first interaction was a phone call which was answered by the owner who was more than friendly. We arrived half an hour later and were seated right away. We ordered the Saganaki to start which was delicious! The owner must have noticed us looking at a more comfortable table in the corner that came available and came over to ask if she could move us to that table. A very nice gesture! Two Greek salads next. I enjoyed mine but my fiancé found his to be too acidy. After the salads came our entrées, mine was the Chicken Parmesan which was the best I’ve had. Moist, flavourful, delicious! My fiancé had the special which was breaded pork in a gravy like sauce, vegetables and mashed potatoes which was also delicious! Overall the experience was very enjoyable! Only 5mins away from our house we will definitely be back to try the lasagna which they were all sold out of… Must be good!

Truly fabulous food. Owners came and said hi. The chef came after the meal. Wonderful Greek and seafood dishes. Our family table of 8 was treated like royalty, we have no complaints. One thing — we wish the water was a little colder, that’s about it. That’s all we have to complain about. This is the neighborhood Michael Buble grew up in this beighbourhood and word is there’s always a chance you’ll run into him at this restaurant.

We have been coming to Little Billy’s for a couple years now. The rib eye is great, as are the lamb chops and padaika ribs. Each entrée comes with a Greek salad, potato, rice, bread, and veggies so we always leave stuffed, or with leftovers(yes!). Veggies and salad are great, but both hubby and I agree that the rice could use some work. Service is genuine but can be sparse if they are busy — it’s understandable as the place is usually booked solid on weekends.

Had a nice first experience at Little Billies. The appetizers were great I had the escargot and she had the prawns. Our entrees took awhile to come out as they Cooked one of the steaks wrong. Was happy that they just made it right without us having to send it back. The price was reasonable. Service was fair to good. We will be back in the future

Had the pepper steak. Was expecting a delicious piece of steak. Came as tiny cut up pieces DROWNING in a super sugary sauce(no hint of pepper at all). Also very little meat and overall small dish. Atrocious.

First impressions: It’s a quiet and quaint restaurant with several framed black and white photos on the walls. It gave off a romantic vibe as the seats were dark(faux leather?) and a candle at each table. However, the dress code is casual to whatever-you-want-to-wear. Struck me as odd to see a setting as such with diners in baseball caps and torn jeans. The menu offered a variety of steaks including fish. I took up my friend’s recommendation of the Ahi Tuna(«grilled medium rare tuna fillet with a sweet balsamic reduction»). Upon receiving my meal, we were first served our salads with a balsamic vinaigrette dressing. It was difficult to eat. They added too much dressing to the point where the vinaigrette overwhelmed my tongue. My friend informed me that they offered other dressings, but we were never asked by our server. My steak was presented on an elongated dish. My mashed potatoes had been in a bowl, pre-heated and then dumped onto my plate. It was evident because the shape of the bowl remained intact — quite unappetizing. The seasonal vegetables were nothing special: cauliflower, broccoli, carrots and pepper drizzled in olive oil and baked. My tuna steak, although perfectly cooked and tender, was served on more salad. Overall I wasn’t impressed by Little Billy’s. I still don’t understand what clientele they are trying to attract. To sum it up, you’ve a restaurant with a romantic setting with no dress code and food that lacks quality and originality. Perhaps that’s why the restaurant remained empty for much of the evening?

Wanting to try something close to home, we hit up Little Billy’s one day after work. I mean, it looks like a really classy joint, the kind that local legends are made of. Unfortunately this was one of those experiences that makes one wonder why it had to be so bad. The food was pretty good – a cross between a higher end steakhouse and a greek restaurant. It was a quiet weekday, and the place was empty except for two other groups, and us, the lonely couple sitting by the window. We got seated pretty fast, but the service ended there. We still cannot figure out for the life of us why we got treated so badly. We came straight from the office so we were presentable, and we are a typical young professional couple. We finally got our menus, but it took great effort to flag the waitress down to get our order. We waited on the longer side to get our order, but after that the service when even more downhill. No one came by to check on us EVER, and then we tried in vain to get the bill. It took about an HOUR. I kid you not. I finally had to walk up to the bar, and beg them for the bill. I then made the mistake of hoping someone would charge my credit card, and I had to walk up to the bar once again. 3 hours of my life I will never get back. NEVER again.

We’ve decided to give Little Billy’s Steak House a try after reading other reviews online. The place is a small restaurant. They have staff there, but really busy at the time(Friday dinner rush I guess). There’s a bar there, so quite a few people were sitting in front of the bar watching sports on their TV. There were I believe 2 or 3 TVs there. We ordered steak and chicken. They are large portions and not too bad in taste. I really enjoyed the atmosphere as it was a small yet modern looking restaurant.
