Of all of the places that sell electronics, you guys are the shittyest bunch of unprofessional crooks I have ever seen. I came in today with a software problem on my laptop, and said that I have warranty for it to be repaired three times, then replaced. You argued with me saying there was no such thing when that was exactly what you explained to me in the past. I took my laptop to the Brentwood location and the gentleman there explained to me that what I was talking is called«lemon”-something policy, which in a sense is like a replacement but under specific conditions. Above all, he fixed my computer’s problem right in front of me on the counter! Of all the staff you had working, you were able to train them to lie to customers and be a bunch of crooks and scams, but you can’t teach them how to handle electronics – at an electronics store. I am extremely disappointed in this branch. First, you hire people that barely know what they are doing and how to communicate correctly with customers, and you don’t teach them the correct terminology of their company’s policies hence confusing customers. I am especially disappointed with the manager for claiming not to have remembered any of this yet we remember him so clearly and the exact words he has used. I will be escalating this situation to head office, explaining your lies, lack of professionalism, and also, not being able to fix a very simple technical problem; shame on you. I do not recommend this branch to anybody.

I got in and out of there fast and the prices were okay. They only downside was that the cashier didn’t notice me for a minute or so but had to have one of his comrades alert him. It was fair enough. It was boxing day and must have been tiring.

I still think this place takes up way too much space for what it offers but it is the next best thing when you want an electronics store and you are in Metrotown. On any given time there is a ton of staff that work here and are willing to help. This store is big, and has a lot of foot traffic pass in front of it, most people are either taking the escalator to the parkade, or walking to Superstore. They have some computeres, notebooks, tablets, headphones, a minor selection of tv’s, weird radio controlled toys, video games, batteries(from the Radio Shack days!), cell phones(and a cell rep that is waiting to sign you up), odd peripherals like usb keys, external hard drives, odd connector cables, and that’s just naming a few things they have. The Source has never been my first stop, as I find their stuff more expensive than most places that have a wider selection, this store is really about convenience, it is located right in Metrotown afterall. The staff is pretty helpful, but a warning to those people who don’t like to talk to anyone, this store is not for you, and someone will greet you once you walk through the entrance.

this one’s got a bit more energy than Oakridge’s; at least a few more food options nearby, like Beard Papas or Cinnzeo. Helpful staff, another great one stop shop for all of your cell phone needs. Though they seem to specialize in Virgin and Bell. Good trade-in promo now w/your old phone, up to $ 200 back in gift certificates from The Source. Good size store.

Obnoxious, annoying sales reps that will talk to you whether you like it or not. They will try to sell you an iPhone, when all you wanted was a charger for your current phone. They specifically hire pushy, peppy, over-the-top sales people because they know that they have nothing going for them compared to the other large electronics stores in the area. Give me a break.

The old Radio Shack. Their selection can’t matching anything close to what Best Buy and Future Shop megamonoliths have available, but the salesperson offered up to price match the Apple web store price on apple brand headphones.
