Tony for the win!
The only time I have ever received complements on my hair (and not just a few days after it’s done, but weeks) is after I have seen Tony, to say the least — they 40 minute drive across town is more then worth it!
He is an expert, a professional and a therapist — I can’t say enough good things about him.
He has never pushed products, and gives me honest answers when I ask.
The salon staff are friendly, inviting, and flexible they provide a professional environment that makes you feel very comfortable.
100% would suggest making the trip to Strathcona!

Worst hair salon in the SW. I got the worst cut and color of my life from this salon and what I asked for wasn’t difficult. When I expressed that it was not what I had wanted it was explained to me that it was. I assure you it wasn’t even close I had to go to another salon to get it fixed and even they were shocked how horrible my dye job was. My hairdresser was calling over other stylist to see. After speaking to many people about my experience, everyone else said they had a bad experience at this salon too. I wish I had asked around first. Don’t waste your money.

I’ve been going to Angles Strathcona for over a year now. Although it’s a ways away from my house I make the trek to see Blair. She’s amazing! I completely trust her with my hair and know that she will always make me look good. Not only is she great at doing hair but she’s also super personable and fun. She makes every visit to the salon a memorable one.

I My rating is actually «0», My daughter got an «updo» at Angles today by Blaire (go to
to see pictures) for her grad. It was so bad she had to take it out and go with her hair down. It cost 84 $$$ it was trash. I called the salon and spoke to the manager Anita who said my daughter got exactly what she had asked for (go to
to see pictures). What a joke. I asked if that was the standard of this salon which she replied, it was! She said there was nothing she could do but apologize that my daughter «picked a style she didn’t like» but that Blaire delivered exactly what was in the picture. hahaha. So I thought I would email the owner the below pictures and see if that is the standard of his salon. Apparently it is as he didn’t respond to my email.

I literally drive 25 – 30 km from Canyon Meadows just to get a unibrow wax lol… But as a man this my friends is worth it even if I have to travel 80 km. Reason being Liliana (esthetician) in my eyes is the best when it come to COMMUNICATION. I tell her just the Uni and guess what? That’s exactly what she does not complicating things like some others in the industry… I leave feeling still manly and fresh. without having fuffy eyebrow look were you can tell a guy got his brows done by overly shaping them …

I’ve been here about 5 or 6 times now. Both my boyfriend and I see Katie for our hair. She does an awesome job. My bf has challenging curly hair and she tames it and makes him look soooo handsome.
Personally, I like to have fun with my hair. Katie keeps it interesting — she switches up my cuts and always does a bangin job. I get lots of compliments on my hair… It makes me feel so good that to me, getting a cut is really pampering — almost like a spa day ;)
Also — all the staff is delightful and they always see me on time. Can’t beat it.
