I’ve been coming here for about a year now. I see one of the senior stylists. Salon is clean and organized. Reception is friendly and they have a ton of merchandise at all different prices. The prices are reasonable. I’ve gotten some fantastic haircuts here. The stylist I see is very knowledgable and friendly and always does exactly what I want.

While I’ve always seriously struggled to find parking here in the massive mall the salon makes up for it. You get a great cut cost-​effectively from experienced stylists. They’re very personable, approachable and do pro work that you’d pay a lot more for elsewhere (please don’t jack the rates now haha). I lived in Calgary in 2006-​07 and it was great. It’s every bit as good now as it was then. I’d recommend coming early though as parking is always unpredictable even middle of the week in the afternoon. Despite being quite late they still managed to get me in with another stylist. In most places if you get in with someone else you’re taking a big risk but they seem to keep good people onboard all around.

I visited Chatters thanks to its great reviews on Unilocal and boy, am I ever happy I did.
I have medium-​length brown hair that is just plain boring. I was itching for a change– cut, colour, or both. Was super nervous since I have never changed my hairstyle and I have never touched my natural colour!
I was handed to Ryan who is SENSATIONAL in every way. I told him to do whatever he thought would look good on me. As a result, I got the BEST cut I have ever gotten, and BEAUTIFUL highlights that make my hair look incredible. He was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Just love him.
I will be sending him tons of business because he deserves it!

I absolutely love this chatters location they are all really great people and so nice and attentive. I had a new guy named David do my hair, he took alittle longer to do my hair. But it was more than worth it! So so attentive.

Yesterday, I was able to get squeezed in for an appointment at 5 with Sanam. I don’t trust anyone else with my hair now. Sanam listens to exactly what I want, is a blast to talk to, and makes sure I leave the salon looking opulent and as though I own EVERYTHING. And I never leave feeling over charged. I left the salon looking like I got a $ 200 haircut, when in fact; I paid a fraction of that.
But… then if I tell you all about him, then I’ll never be able to get squeezed in last minute…
Go see the others at Chatters in Chinook! They’re all awesome and friendly, too.

The Chatters salon on the main floor of Chinook Centre is made up of wall to wall hair care (and a touch of bath stuff). If there is anything, ANYTHING at all hair related there is a decent to excellent chance you can find it here. I was looking for a specialty product and I dropped in while I was at Chinook anyways.
The sales girl was super friendly and asked if I needed help right away. I was in a rush, so it was great to get some help. She obviously knew her stuff, recommended a product for me (that was cheaper than some of the others), and told me why it was the best compared to others. Perfect. I’m totally satisfied. A quick warning: most of the haircare is salon quality and so carries a decent price tag.
