I DONOT recommend buying a groupon from the Yoga Den, as they do not know the meaning of the word customer service. I purchased one for $ 50.00 and was not able to use it in the specified time listed on the coupon. It did state however, that if you were unable to use it within that time period, that it could by used for face value at a later time and would never expire. I went in on May 30, 2015 and told them I would like to purchase a month pass, that by the way is $ 60.00 for 1st time new comers. I assumed that I would be able to purchase the pass for another $ 10.00 since I already paid 50.00 for the groupon. Wellllll they were not hearing of that. They had the nerve to try and charge me $ 70.00 on top of the $ 50 that I already paid. They claimed I need to pay $ 70.00 plus use the $ 50 dollar Groupon that I already purchased. They didn’t even mention that it is $ 60.00 for first time joiners. Unbelievable. So in reality if I had of walked through the door and said I wanted to purchase a monthly pass I would have been able to pay less then what they were trying to charge me when I’ve already shelled out $ 50.00. Their lack of honestly and customer service will not be forgotten and I will make sure I let as many people as possible know. Thanks for showing me your true colours before I invested any more of my time or money on your establishment. May carma find you and bring you just what you deserve.

This is a great studio! I was a little hesitant in signing up for yoga so I opted for private classes with Falicia and I was not disappointed. We work at my own and pace each week adding more moves to the routine. The studio is always clean and smells wonderful when you arrive. The changing rooms are always clean and there is always lots of space. Parking is at a premium but I’ve always found a spot close to the studio. Can’t wait to try more classes!!!

Just finished a great yoga class at this studio and wanted to share my thoughts. The studio is located in the Douglas Square strip mall just behind the Starbucks and McDonald’s. Parking is free. The studio is brand new and very clean. The lobby is small but does the job, the hot yoga room is very spacious(temperature went up to 41 degrees Celsius in the hot class I was in, they also offer warm and regular classes). There are no mirrors in the class which I found different from other yoga studios(the mirrors is usually how I check my balance and posture). The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, you are encouraged to work and challenge yourself yet they are totally ok with you having to take a break in child’s pose or leaving the room if you need to(I’ve been to some places where you weren’t allowed to leave in the middle…). They is one shower and two bathrooms in the female change room, you hang your belongings on the wall and they lock the doors during the class. Marianne was my instructor for the class, I found her very sweet and easy to talk to. My friend and I will definitely be back. A couple of things I would of liked to see was cleaner for mats after the class and maybe a filtered or designated drinking water tap.

I am in love with this studio! They offer way more than yoga(Zumba, kick boxing, barre, boot camp, etc.) so you can keep switching up your weekly routine which will keep you from getting bored. They offer a few kids classes if you want to get your children involved. The instructors are great and seem to be very attentive to all students regardless of their current level/abilities. Everyone seems very welcoming and friendly. The facility is clean well taken care of. If you want, you can purchase an unlimited membership for 1 year which includes the majority of classes on the schedule. The price seems to be one of the cheapest in the city. I can’t wait to see what they come up with next!
